After releasing the
PC Engine DUO, NEC decided to make a less expensive model of the system. Calling it the PC Engine DUO-R, this now white colored
system had many changes over it's predecessor. The headphone jack to the side of the system was removed, as with the Battery Pack
option. The case was changed to a more streamlined design, and other small changes were made to the case to reduce production costs. |
