This was TTi's TG-16/CD combined unit. It not only provided one whole system, but added more memory for a new format--Super
CD. It was packaged with over $250 worth of software and other items, and retailed for $299.99.One advantage the Duo over the TG-CD was the access time. Because the Duo was one
single unit, access time was cut down on most of the games. With the new Super CD format, access time was becoming very short on some titles. This was another first in the video game
industry, but not to be the last. At this time, the American line of TG-16/DUO video game systems were being taken over by Turbo Technologies Inc. |
