What the Hell is this? Has anyone else played this? Anyone know who was working on it or any other information? It looks cool as Hell. I wonder if you have the flash card if this would be playable on actual hardware?

Actually, this looks kind of cool. Apparently an original fan game, not just a port of one of the existing games. Didn't know about this. I assume the project will never be continued, but how finished is the current version?

This excellent project was/is being developed by DamageX. I believe it has been under development longer than any other pce homebrew--I'm always thrilled and amazed to see new versions of this game every so often, even after all these years!

I just happened to come across a PSIV demo in my roms list while using Magic Engine the other day. I don't know if it's related to the project first mentioned in this thread, but I have played different versions of that one over the years.

BlackTiger- does that PSIV demo start out with "GREETINGS PS FANS"? I have several versions of DamageX's demo, and they all start out with that screen. (In the May 2012 version it changed, with a lovely new title screen as well.)

T2KFreeker- I forgot to mention: yes, it works on a flash card ;)

No, the title screen just has the PS logo and says "Press Run". Then you're controlling Alisa and can walk across an area made up of PSIV Motavian city graphics. There's a dancing girl, someone flailing on the ground and another woman.

This laptop also has three revisions of DamageX's demo and the "title screen" demo. One of the playable demos has different sound than the others.

That guy's legit.

I just downloaded the Phantasy Star demo, it plays good, don't think that it will ever be finished. Someone has also ported over Megaman and it plays really well.
