Title: Proper Introduction
Post by: Mi5terDNA on 05/26/2016, 01:31 PM
Hello everyone, I just wanted to properly introduce myself.

I've had a real itch to play and learn about PC Engine hardware and software lately, and my searching led me straight here.  I had a friend in high school who's dad would let us play his TG16, I was pretty enthralled with it and have had little opportunity to play a real unit since.  I have been collecting for Famicom for well over a decade and am a very long-time member of Famicom World, I think I recognized a few members over here.  Anyway, I didn't want to seem like a leech or come off as rude while in my hardware hunt, I respect your community and the enormous wealth of knowledge you all posses and I'm glad to be here.

Thanks!

Welcome, comrade :)

I love NES/Famicom. Such a rich library of games.

Also, PCE RULES ALL.

Fin.

Thanks for the warm welcome!  I'm currently waiting for a Famicom EverDrive in the mail, pretty excited to play some translated dungeon-crawlers.  I'm real intrigued by the PCE, particularly the sound hardware, it's SO RAD.

Greetings!  I always meant to put in some time at Famicom world, especially since I've been on a Game Boy binge lately.  So many forums/games/systems, so little time.  Welcome aboard!

Thanks!  I highly recommend Famicom World, it's a community much like this one.  I've been a member there since 2006 (which is hard to believe).  But there really are too many great games and too many great communities, hardly any time to actually play the games!  Learning about them is almost as fun though.
