No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! I helped edit/betatest and it's also a game I actually finished in 2023, yaaay! Shubibiman also did a French localization. github.com/dshadoff/DeadoftheBrain

This is probably a stupid question, but I seem to keep finding TG-16 references instead of PCE ones when I look.

I need to find a replacement power adapter for the original white PCE, just not sure what the specs on the original one were.

nat

They are the exact same as the American TG-16.

In other words,

* You can use the American TG-16 AC adapter (brick-on-a-rope) with the white PCE core.
* Any substitute that works on the American TG-16 will work on the white Japanese PCE core.

Beware that the power supplies for the Duo models and the Supergrafx are different.

I have a spare TG-16 one, I think I recall hearing that a model 1 Genesis power adapter also works?  Either way, as long as I'm not using it on -that- TG-16 it doesn't matter I guess.

Indeed it does. Any 9VDC power supply with negative tip polarity and amperage above 650 mA will work fine.
