This is the mother of all of the PC Engine
systems. Made to be a portable system of sorts, the PC Engine LT is the largest cart/CD portable system ever made. The LT alone is a fully functional HuCard unit, having a 4 inch screen, built-in speaker, controls, external hookups, CD support, and a lot more. The LT had the ability to be hooked to the
CD-ROM2
unit for the ultimate portable system ever created (although big). The system did not use batteries, so an AC adapter was needed to power the unit.
When the system first came out it was
very expensive, and did not make it into a lot of peoples homes. Recently, the systems were reduced in price, for clearance in Japan. |
