@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

I just 100%-ed Rondo of Blood last night, boy that felt rewarding and satisfying. It's actually been a really long time since i've had the time to play a retro game to completion.

Hahaha, that's a particularly comedic choice of rhetoric there

I laughed for like 5 minutes straight at the list prices, that's hilarious! In any case, is this raffle still enterable? If so, please sign me in for it.

Yeah, I didn't know he was such an influential person when it come to the history of computers either. Thanks for sharing

Blaster Master is a must buy, and it's really cheap currently

Found this gem on youtube, pretty interesting that they showed off Ys Book I & II considering the anime scene at the time. NEC stuff is shown at 17:24 if you don't want to watch the whole thing.

Kevin Costner's Waterworld: I really hate this movie, it's utter garbage.

Any Shyamalan movie, especially Signs, with plotholes so big you could fit a container ship and still have room to spare

Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows was also butt-ass

It's just stupid people are willing to pay more than $60 for an NES Mini. As for PCE games, they've just been following the trend of becoming stupidly expensive. The NES, SNES, Sharp X68000 (arguably never lost its' value), Neo Geo all have that same problem; which has more recently started affecting PS1, N64, and even the fucking 32X

Some jackass once burned rubber near my house, needless to say the house had a horrible odor for about a week

What is the point of this thing? Even I know there are other, more efficient and cost effective options for playing PCE/TG16 games

Quote from: Warbucks on 04/18/2017, 09:15 AMI say we all take off all the black parts and put them on different games like people do with nes games.
I once did that to a friend of mine for an April Fools Day joke. He only had about 30 NES games at the time, but it took him 15 games before he realized what was going on. I was laughing so hard after and helped him get his games back to normal

I've had no luck on finding a Duo-R for a decent price so far. I just want one in good condition, preferably recapped.

Choppy framerate and lackluster graphics aside, the game also has bad sound quality, like a lower than normal bitrate
#14
Not my kind of thing, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, I've been considering it for a while now, but I heard that the Everdrives are thicker than normal Hucards and mess up the pin connectors. Is that true or is it just bs? Also, do Everdrives have 100% game compatibility?

That's a pretty insane lot you got there, I may be a little jealous lol. I just wish I was old enough to be able to start collecting when this stuff was cheaper.

Hi folks, I just joined this site yesterday. I'm relatively new to PCE/TG16 collecting, as I got a TG16 with Keith Courage a few months back. Also got some Super CD games, but I can't play them as I don't have any of the cd systems. Currently looking to buy a recapped Duo-R for the many amazing Super CD games!
