Just an update...

Finishing up tweaking of the prints to sell once again.  Each case takes 2hrs to print currently as I've made them slightly better/stronger than before.
#5
Hi all - I'm still offering the cases but took my printers offline for a while.  I just fired them back up last night and am just verifying the prints are coming out right.  Will update here once I'm ready to accept new orders.

Quote from: Gentlegamer on 06/22/2016, 02:14 PMBe sure to have a script that bans viewing the site from nintentoage.com referrals.
Not sure what you mean by that but don't really want to know :)

I'm REALLY going to be bummed if I lost all of the text content I had created for it...................still working on it.
#8
So I've decided to start looking into the remake again after taking a break and I got some bad news.  All of the progress I've made with the layout and new text that I spent so much time on may have been lost.  I'm attempting to recover a (what I hope) is a backup of the remake on my local machine, but it's not looking good......

Quote from: Umbrella_inc on 02/11/2016, 08:11 PMPcenginefx, I am interested in buying two sets of your 3d printed hu-card cases.  Per your instructions in the first posting I sent you a PM a few days ago, just wanted to post here as well to confirm you got the message.
Got it - replying to your PM now....sorry been off the site for a bit.

Don from Starr Mazer TV was kind enough to do a show & tell about my 3D printed HuCard cases recently in his live Twitch show on 1/30.

Episode: http://www.twitch.tv/starrmazer/v/38813896 (skip to 38min to get to the HuCard segment)

Quote from: MotherGunner on 01/10/2016, 12:24 AMHi Aaron, any more Blue and White to be offered?
I stopped offering the other colors, but sure - just send me your order details and I'll make it happen.

Orders have now re-opened for 2016!  As before, please PM me with your order.

QuoteDo you plan to make more for 2016?
What he said
Oh yes, I plan on continuing to offer them in 2016 - I'm going to be on vacation starting the 16th, so that's why I closed orders for the rest of the year.

Just to chime in here - I had to close the forum from guests for two reasons:

1. Bandwidth
I'm barely under the bandwidth/server load from my webhost for the price point I'm paying per month to keep pcengine-fx.com open (and I am not paying any more per month).  Closing the forum from guest access helped this problem.

2. Creepers/stalkers causing me issues
Closing the forum from guest access helped this.  Not going to say any more about it.

Last of the cases going out for 2015.....

Heya everyone - this is the LAST CALL I'm taking for HuCard cases for 2015.  If you want them, you have until this FRIDAY 11/20 to order what you want.  As before, please PM me your order.

I generally don't go to many conventions, but I am going to this one for Sat. only.  I'll unfortunately miss Gamesack, but at least I'm going.............

I expect to be hanging around any vendor w/TG goods ;)
#18
I too was wondering who would handle the PCE port (I also backed it, of course) but glad to see we are in good hands............

Now if we can get it before June 2017 :P

Thank you so much for your hard work on completing this project!  With NightWolve's help, I was able to finally burn a CD-R to play in my FX.  I've always loved the FX, but found it unfortunate that I could never fully enjoy the games due to not understanding Japanese.

On a side note, I plan on live streaming English Zeroigar on my newly formed Twitch channel whenever I get a few hours to spare :D http://www.twitch.tv/pcenginefx/profile/past_broadcasts

Quote from: elmer on 08/20/2015, 04:54 PMI'm really hoping that filler and EsperKnight will get want to get back to Team Innocent, and get it finished off.

Here's my contribution ... the font system is now hacked, and all the fonts can be replaced with something a little nicer.  :)

Original ROM font ...

Custom VWF font (with added drop-shadow) ...

This is great news elmer!  Please try to make this happen!  I've always been wanting to play Team Innocent but never could make it through (I can't read any Japanese).  Be really awesome to make this a reality!

I'm not only posting, but I'm going to try this out on some FX games!

Hi all,

I know these are hard to find but I'm throwing this out there in case someone here would like to make a deal outside of eBay to a known collector (and not some reseller).  I've decided to re-finish my Turbo collection (it was complete back in '09 before I did a massive Pcenginefx auction sell-off).  Please PM or reply to this thread if you have one to sell, or know of one (besides eBay).

Chase HQ

Windcharger is for sure ahead of me in making a song, but I too am still trying to get a full song done (so far trying out a LoT song).  Not sure what I'll do next....was thinking some Streets of Rage hehe....

So my long-time friend pinged me on Skype a few weeks ago and said "hey, let's make some PC Engine music!"  So we did:
.pce version download is HERE.

I'm also working on a PC app (seen below) where you will be able to preview dozens (if not hundreds) of combinations of waveforms & envelopes.  Screenshot of WIP app below:

Our goal is to help spread the word about Squirrel, at the same time make it even easier for people to get into making MML music - more to come!

QuoteHi. Are all the black cases sold out?
Right now, all colors are available!

Quote from: guest on 03/27/2015, 09:20 PMAaron the cases arrived to cold canada, packaged well and great presentation, each 3 pack are shrink wrapped. The quality is top notch, sturdy and the clip that holds the game fits perfectly. Just a great product!

Thank you with a hug!
Glad to hear they made it to Canada ok and thanks for the feedback!

Quote from: blueraven on 03/29/2015, 09:18 PM...WOW. They arrived safe, and with the aid of Sparky's stickers and Seymor's sleeves.. Here is the final product.

I cleaned up a few old cases to do a cross-comparison, (and because I didn't want to "waste" one of the new ones on JJ and Jeff), and while they look good, they don't have clips.
Looking good there blueraven!  Thanks for posting up photos!

- All current orders have been fulfilled & shipped.

Just ordered a set of these as well - thanks for posting.

Quote from: guest on 03/19/2015, 12:19 PMOkay, so how about moving all the posts from the VC subforum to the other subforums?
Rather just move the forum into the archive area, that way all related posts remain together.
#35
Discussion about this topic has slowed to a level that I feel is not justified to keep the section active any longer.
#36
If I was, the announcement would be all over the place, not just here.
#37
Just this forum for virtual console....not the entire forum 😊
#38
Get in your last words - I will be officially closing down this forum any day now and archiving it for future generations.

Oh, I have that art book.  That's where I got some of the later Rolfee art from.

UPDATE 3/12
- "Turbo Orange" now comes with a BLACK case arm, instead of the normal semi-clear colored arm.
- My new spool of black filament just came in today which means I'll be working on remaining backorders now.
#42
esteban - sent you a PM.  I'll be posting up more creative process stuff as the site continues to be worked on!
#43
Quote from: Gentlegamer on 03/11/2015, 11:35 PMIf the Turbo Memoirs ends up being part of the new site, please re-upload your high res photos. I used to use them as wallpaper, but last time I checked only the lower res versions are available.
Oh sure thing Gentlegamer.  I'll be retiring TM once the site goes up so one way or another the content will live elsewhere.

Quote from: guest on 03/12/2015, 05:18 PMRolfee is always out of focus for me, because I start to hyperventilate when I see her.
....because you have a thing for blue haired females?

Are you guys contacting any of these sellers?  If not, I suggest you do and get your frustrations heard.  I've recently contacted a batch of eBay business (ie, "investors") with a piece of my mind on the issue....of course it won't change anything, but I'd rather have them hear from us than not.

Quote from: Gentlegamer on 03/11/2015, 05:05 PMDoes it work on android?
Yep, sure does.  I believe all platforms (iOS, Android) have the Tapatalk app.

Thread is now sticky!  The triforce is now complete!
#48
Cool - yep I'm posting from my Lumia 920.

I'm back off and on working on the re-design.  I'm thinking I'll be making it live much sooner than I thought as the content will never be really "done"...and if I wait till it is completely done, it will never see the light of day....I figure I can just keep adding content as I get to it.

With that being said, I'm currently working on the main landing page of the site again.  When I say "again" I mean that I had already created what I thought was a cool landing page that looked the way I wanted it to be...but after re-visiting the page again I realized it could be much cleaner and didn't focus people to the right area of the site.

One major new element of the landing page will be large console hardware images which will give the visitor no question of what pcengine-fx.com is about.  To do this, I've undertaken the task to re-shoot all console images in my studio in as high a resolution as possible.  While this is all well and good, the real problem is that the hardware (unless new) is going to have bumps and scuffs:

IMG

Luckily, Photoshop CC kicks ass in the cleanup department:

IMG

So I went from this raw image:

To the final product (hardware cleanup, proper color correction, addition of System Card in post):

This is the sort of work that is going on behind the scenes...........slow work, but damn will it look amazing when finished.

There is always the web interface ;)
