Quote from: mouldie on 10/03/2012, 03:15 PMI just sold Splatterhouse on eBay. When I came to package it up (the first time I'd properly looked at it) I realised that it's a bootleg. Gutted!

I assume these things are largely worthless?
Good thing you realized that it was fake before shipping it out.  I wouldn't say it's worthless since these pirates seem hard to find now days.    There are some game collectors that do collect pirates.

Is this one yours?  I've never seen a pirate hu in person and would like to see more pics of yours if possible.  I find them intriguing, but not enough to buy or collect them.

Yep, that's the one. I'll get some pictures up later when I get chance.

As has been said, most shooters and platform games. As you're looking for specific recommendations one that's popped into my head is Bloody Wolf!

Yeah, it's well worth a visit!

It starts with street racing where you bet with fellow racers. If you hang around there long enough and win plenty of cash then the move to F3000 is easy. Then on to F1! The only issue is that it's so damn hard to overtake in the later races when everyone matches your pace, the reason being that touching an oppositions car makes yours spin but not theirs.

Give it more than 10 mins and you too will love it!!!

*Maybe "Best game ever" was a stretch too far!

I've had a PC Engine in one form or another for the last 20 years or so. I just can't seem to leave it alone! Anyway, the one game that I always seem to come back to, and take most pleasure from, is F1 Dream. How is this game generally viewed by people?

I always found Thrash Rally to be the best game on the Neo Geo and I know that was largely termed 'Trash' rally by reviews at the time. So maybe my judgement is way off. I'd be interested to hear what other people think of F1 Dream anyway??
