I nearly had a heart-attack today when I realized that not just one, but TWO of my customers at work are doing upgrades the weekend of MGC. Even though it'll be a lot of work, I'm relieved they're both on Sunday. I can still go to MGC on Saturday!

I was just thinking, all of us PCEFX nerds should meet up at some place and time within the MGC area. Like maybe 3pm on Saturday at wherever the Turbo systems are in the museum area.

Well, we're doing our live Podcast in the museum area starting at 3 on Saturday. I'll be at the VGEVO booth a lot, so I'm sure that I'll be sneaking over to the Turbo stuff every now and then

I'll have to play times by ear unfortunately, as I have no idea how much of my time people are gonna want etc. Hopefully I'll get a better understanding of the plans and expectations on Friday when we're setting-up.

Unfortunately things crumbled for me at the last minute and couldn't make it

. The person I had coming with me to help with directions backed out and I became exhausted from spending the night digging my fat dog out from underneath a gazebo, as crazy as that sounds. Really, really was hoping to make it this year. Sorry to anyone who was depending on me for something (DHG for setting up my PCE, Nectarsis for buying his SNES, Guyjin for a game of Shadowrun). I will make sure no such things get in the way next year.

The Turbo wasn't set up until the second day because the AC port on the back of the system was loose, but luckily with Ben Heck there with his group, they were able to find someone with the screw driver head late Saturday and fix it up good as new. As for why the PC Engine wasn't there... Well, you know that story already. ;)
