PC Engine Shinobi and Famicom Captain Tsubasa II: Super Strikers

Y'know despite all the things that were taken out for the PCE port of Shinobi, what is it about it that still makes a cool thing to have in your collection? That's a mystery since the lack of stuff in ports usually turn us off.

What was taken out besides the bonus stage where you get to control a hand that throws shurikens at ninjas?

ASMIK was so awesome. They totally utilized the power of the PC Engine for their rendition of Shinobi.

Only the best programmers work at ASMIK. Mission 2 was not in the PCE because Mission 2 is too good for the PCE. If this were a Nintendo game, Nintendo would say "Gamers do not want Mission 2".

Also, you had damn well better think of me when that title screen shows up. ;)

Seems like Asmik increased their speed and on the other hand taking forever to kill

what really pisses me off though is that the gap between the statues and the electric force field isn't as wide as it was on the arcade, for that, the statues seemingly got the upper hand from the start.

I thought Mandara was the boss from Mission 2 in the arcade...although I distinctly remember there being 5 Missions and I can only recall 4 bosses from my most recent PC Engine playing experience.

It's the limited edition of Blalzblue that comes with two disc. Which,has a 42-song track and a disc containing the tutorials. It's not a must when there is a regular edition as well but i got it for collectors sake.

Thanks yeah i didn't know either there was a mr.do for the neo geo,that's untile i got the mvs a few years back.Neo Mr.Do takes the original arcade game and adds a few twist to it.

De-labelling those PCE cases was a mofo. Not only is there an extra sticker on the back, but the edge labels were way more of a hassle than the TG16 cases are. Thankfully I have Goo-Gone.

And I actually felt a bit guilty doing it for some reason.

Yeah I knew the Marty couldn't play it when I bought it. But at 3,000yen each. I had to buy them both! I found them mixed in with the BGM Music CD's in a recycle shop.
