I said from the start the way i do auctions is dutch style.  start high end of what its worth, if nobody buys lower the price.  damn isnt that complex.

What happened to just letting the market decide somethings worth?  $0.99 auction and let it rip.  If somethings worth something it'll sell!

only fools do that. i have tried that before many times and it never works.  you might get lucky on 1 or 2 auctions from bidding wars but mostly you will just be screwed over by trying to start everything low. id rather keep something worth money than give it away for way less than its worth. im not desperate...

Funny I just sold over $1,600 worth of toys started all at .99, no reserve.  So I may be a "fool" but I got $ in my pocket, not shit sitting around. ;)

anyway, kevincal, i've seen your listings before, and pretty much laughed you off, seeing as the threads on the various forums were all just you saying "bump", and your prices were always high, or your postings were always disc only or something like that.

besides, as a seller, i figured that you, as a seller would eventually figure out that things are only worth what people pay, so posting a high price, then working down is only increasing your cost, making you less money.

as for your mom dying, i'm sorry about that, it really sucks, i know what it's like to lose someone important.
BUT, as a buyer, that's not going to do much, and it's more of a deterrent; it makes you look unprofessional.

Great way to make friends here, or potential customers. I've been on eBay since 1998 and have 100% feedback, and have never responded like you did here or in the eBay feedback forum. I avoid sellers like you after doing feedback research.
