listen, the PC-FX is not to be taken lightly. This contest could go for years before people are ready to become advanced OBEYers and get the glorious white dating sim box and play some epic games.

I just found out there is a version Power League for the FX. I may become an OBEYer now.

Power League on the FX was EXCELLENT!! It reminded me of Super Bases Loaded (SNES) a bit, but with amazing sound, HUGE sprites, zooming colours, and rokken cut-scenes!!

It was the game I had played the most when I briefly owned the FX. Damn, now I'm missing the PC-FX.....

LET'S GET THE PARTY STARTED.

Deadline for score entries is one month out-- let's say March 15th 11:59PM.

I know that's a long time, but I have a feeling some of the people "in" on the contest probably won't even check this thread for a week or two. Hell, I barely ever even look at the PC-FX section myself. I will update the first message with everyone's name and current high score. The list gets locked as final at 12:00AM March 16th.

But if someone else wants to offer up a real prize, by all means, feel free.

Also, all high scores need to be backed up by a screenshot. Real system plays strongly preferred. Playing via emulation has the potential for save states giving unfair advantages.

One more thing: it's never too late to join the fun.....

Yeah, it's not like other 2 minute caravan modes where your score is based strictly on kills and finding secret bonuses. In Zeroigar, time left on the clock after defeating the boss, life left, and special weapon power left all play a huge part in your final score.

I stayed up late last night playing over and over to get a higher score, so here is mine:

and showing the FX to ensure no "game enhancement devices" are attached

Also I just want to say I'm actually pretty impressed with the PC-FX so far, I like the polished 2d sprites and the video quality is good. For the games I've tried, there hasnt been much loading time especially transitioning from video to gameplay. There was some potential there, even if not as graphically impressive as the playstation or saturn.
