i am offering PS2 modchip installs for most versions of fat PS2 and some models of slim PS2.
i am charging $75 plus shipping for the install service on most fat PS2s, price may vary depending on motherboard version and chip type. slim PS2s will also vary in price depending on chip and board version. (does not include the modchip, you must provide that) i will install the chip and re-grease the laser sled with synthetic molybdenum grease. please make sure your PS2 is in good working order (no disk read error issues, etc) this service does not include repairs, though i may be willing to make some repairs at additional cost if i have the part that is needed or if you can provide it. if you do not know where to buy a good PS2 chip i can probably link you to a couple of sites that sell them.
i can accept payment by cash or postal money order (sorry, i do not accept paypal)
premodded PS2 systems:
SCPH-30001R (version 6) with DMS3 2.0 installed. includes power cable, AV cable, and 1 controller.
IMG
system will play backup and import PS1 and PS2 games, can use non-sony hard drives on games that had official hdd support (ATAD patching) it can also force NTSC on PAL PS1/PS2 imports without making the screen offcenter. the chip will autoboot PS2 games and DVD video disks (who uses a PS2 for dvd movies anyway though? :P) and will boot PS1 disks if you hold the O button while turning the system on.
asking $200 plus shipping.

Which versions of PS2 slims do you offer your services for?

i generally do not recommend moly grease as its abrasive (causes wear).
using a light silicone or lithium grease is preferred

what version did you want modded? i'd have to check the diagrams for the PS2 version and particular chip you want installed.

the sled on the PS2 is all metal. it will not damage it.
