Looks like we might need that backup power after all, as a nasty tropical storm is on the way... winds are already getting rather high, and knowing how PR works (or doesn't work, as it really is), we're likely to lose power for a few days. Fortunately, I've already done the backups, and we have systems we can work on thru the we-know-it's-coming powerout. I'm just in the process of doing some final local testing right now before it gets uploaded for the beta team... fixed a couple of glitches here and there but nothing super huge.

The final beta is being uploaded to the server as we speak. Although it still has a few issues I was not able to tackle due to our power backups running out earlier than expected, the time has finally come for the final beta run. This could take a week to finish, though it might go a bit longer. We're aiming for pressing by September 15th. And yes, that's 2011, not 2015.

Pressing them's the easy part. Making the software, and making it worthy of something people would pay cash monies for, is the hard part.

Btw, CrackTiger revealed to us a sketch of what the front cover will look like. I can't show it here on the forum without his authorization, but it bears resemblance to other RPGs of the heyday of 16 bit gaming.

I have referenced some of his art when making some of the cinema art more Japanese looking, but it is more than coincidental that those two games wound up with the same style of scenes on the front and back.

Just a quick lil update... we've fielded quite a few reports so far, but there have been no new reports in recent days, indicating a lack of remaining issues. There is still one run left to conquer, and I'm sure it will have a few issues, but all the big ones are already squashed and even the little ones are extremely minor.
