@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

aka The "King of Cawbells"-Game?

I like to find as much as possible games that featuring cawbells in their sound track (BGM).

The entrants so far are:

1. Galaxy Force II (Arcade, Koichi Namiki) beyond the galaxy @2:12
2. Thunder Blade (Arcade, Koichi Namiki) @0:29
3. Hellfire (Arcade, Tatsuya Uemura) @1:00 (thx to Ope)
Please feel free to add as many games as you know that feat. cawbells. At the end we will vote for the "King of Cawbells"-Game :)

Just remembered Thrash Rally on the Neo Geo also features some cawbell. You can hear it at 3:58 of SuperD's video during the score ranking screen.

JoshTurboTrollX

I believe I hear the CAWbell in Super Turrican stage 2-4 @ the :23 mark
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

geise

Super Turrican has one of THE best SNES soundtracks.  I love that level's music.

Just found another cawbell BGM by Tim Follin:
While am no big fan of the super off road BGMs (sure one of tims weakest product) 've thougt to post it anyway :)

Holy snap! I love the HI NRG dance music in this game! Yes, yes, I've read about this game before (as a shoot-em-up fan), but not a single article expressed the supremely awesome early-90's NRG of the tunes.

Cowbells, or not, I have a weak spot for this stuff. It helps explain why I liked a lot of tracks from Exile (TG-CD), too.

:)

Lol, scramble stage 3 is one of my all time fav BGMs on teh SFC and I never noticed the cawbells until now. Can't be. Porbably because they were used to create a simple melody instead of just hitting one tone like a metronome clock generator.

Btw. here a much cleaner record of it :)
Esty, its a must have on teh SFC. If not this, then which?

Even the final battle uses teh cowbell! The Epic-o-meter has ruptured! it even goes great with the background, scrolling at high speed as if the base is crumbling

You speak the truth :)

Because of limited funds, I haven't really explored much of the Superfamicom library.

BUT, I have purchased "must-haves"... so why haven't I grabbed this game. I HAVE NO IDEA.

It looks great.
