If the pressing house packages the product adequately, it should minimize breakage, even via UPS. Then again, if they put minimal to no padding and just fill a box corner to corner...

Ha. No kidding. I've had friends who worked at UPS tell stories and advise me to ship items in a hard plastic cooler wrapped in duct tape if I want anything to survive their ground service. 2-day air is safer as the other packages are mostly light business parcels.

In fact it is a little less expensive than France, plus in france the minimum quantity is 500 .
I don't think that professional pressed is a good thing (too expensive, and mainly with too many quantities )

We heard from Nationwide... they're confused. lol.

They stated that there was an issue at 1:17 in the disc, causing "a loud buzz". Of course, 1:17 is where track 2 starts, which is the data track... Keranu had to tell them "hey bozos, this is a Turbob game, so you better obey".

Hopefully this doesn't delay anything.

I'd say that hearing from them this far along without any problems about the disc copying properly is a very good sign.

This is them still verifying the pretend one. They aren't going to create a glass master until they are 100% sure this thing is legit and good to go.

They do more in that week than just verify the disc, and any time you have to respond before they can proceed adds to the time taken.

I sent in the master disc, they verified it and asked if my art looked ok (sent proofs), I said yes do it, and then we were all set.

It took 1.5 weeks from the time I overnighted the discs to the time they showed up at my house.

My first master I sent was slightly gooned up so they said to send a new one, so I ended up overnighting ~10 of them or something and said here pick the best one.

Neutopia III is a massive project that is going to take thousands of hours of work. It's on the backburner right now because it's so huge... we have a few other games lined up before we get to it. Also, the guy who we took on to help out with it just suddenly disappeared out of the blue.

However, atleast in my regard, any song that I feel I finished for it, I now want to touch up, as I feel my skills have improved since we originally started the project. And other songs just need to be fleshed out in general, along with the songs that I hadn't started yet. Also, when the time comes, I'd like to have real guitar's wailing in various spots, but my original guy, Jevax, ain't gonna be doing it. It seemed like Nate of Vodkatron was interested, but I think he's been having alot of real life stuff going on. Ofcoarse, that doesn't mean he won't be available by the time we go full steam on this one!

As cool as all the current homebrew projects are looking (and they all certainly are), Neutopia 3 is the one I'm the most excited about; admittedly out of nostalgia.

That being said, I'm geared up for Mysterious Song. I even bought an extension cable for my Duo specifically so I can get cozy in my chair and play it.
