Hmmm, good point, since only 2 player versions can be called "Twin Cobra"....and PC Engine only has a 1 player version I believe...
damnit, now i gotta change the banner for next time... Haha

Anyways, here's my entry. Got to Level 10 with no continues  (score resets if continued)
The key is to not die late in each stage otherwise all those damn stars you collected...you won't get credit for after killing boss.

It's a great port save for the fact it's only 1 player. The music is pretty good for a chip card, and the difficulty gets pretty hard after stage 4 or 5, but if u can keep your weapons intact you will eventually get to the end levels. From the screenshots, this port does look more colorful then the MegaDrive port  but i have no idea in terms of the music.  Give it a whirl! (ahem...pun intended)

I have been playing this a ton too, I am stuck at the final enemy on Level 5 though and it drives me nuts! Great game, awesome music!

Well a cheap way to defeat the bosses is to use use bombs. Usually a few will do the trick and while they are exploding they protect you from enemy fire. I agree though, great game, great music! I love how intense it gets at times with enemies swarming you from every direction.

Good point, cause you really do wanna keep all your powerups thru the levels...but that being said, i've still gotten decent progress even continuing on stages as far as 5 & 6! Red and blue can still be usable at lower power levels as long as you crank that turbo up to max!

Hidden 1-Up: right after u take off on stage 1, fly straight to the bottom left or right (sorry, haven't played in awhile) and drop a bomb. Voila, you'll hear the 1-up sound!

err...i think u mean Blue spread....Green is the powerful double laser beams.
Yellow is pretty fun once u get it to go homing...but it's weakass! So u better be good at dodging while it does it's work 
And switching your turbo to level 2 and 3 is a must....easier to do more damage in a short time.

Ah yeah, that's what I meant. It's been a little white since I've played it. And I admit I abuse the turbo controller in this game. But without it I'm pretty hopeless.
