Just beat Yaksa/Jinmu Denshou

I liked it too, up until level 6, then it becomes realy annoying

Today I beat W Rings, specificaly twice, but since there wasn't a different ending, and since I never saw any ending but this on the net, I'm posting this

Also, very similar with Image Fight II yesterday.

I actualy beat it three times, solely because I didn't think you can just skip over the ending and credits, as I just skip past cutscenes usualy.

Just managed to blast through all 5 stages in Outrun on hard :-)

Forgot what a great game this is. I remember spending all of my lunch money in the arcade on this when this came out, well apart from a few coins on Altered Beast LOL.

I got Spriggan today...

...and beat it. (Though I had to use 1 continue on the final boss!)

I guess that means it's time to play it on a harder difficulty.

Man I love this game!

Normal difficulty is pretty easy. I still need to try it on devil mode, or whatever.

With the help of Allah: Clear #41 - Soldier Blade clear!!

This game made a bad first impression on me... it immedeately seemed to be extremely overrated, with only three unoriginal weapons, mediocre music and uninspired gameplay. As I played through it, the game grew on me a little. The green wave weapon reminded me of Blazing Lazers, as did the enemies who fired ring-blaster like blasts. One of the later bosses also has a wavy flame weapon, as in the first two soldier games. It was pretty neat to go toe to toe with some of my favorite weapons from older games in the series, but it was somewhat melancholy that my own weapons were so lame. The special attack available with each weapon makes this game too easy, as you're invulnerable while the apecial attack is in use. There is some really good action in the game, but the best segments, as well as the final form of the boss, are breezed through with special attacks. All in all, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Super Star Soldier and Blazing Lazers.

I found the game quite frustrating at first with some of the earlier levels seeming more difficult to work out than the later ones, especially completing the roof part of stage 3 without loosing any life.

That would have been a nice touch to the game with maybe some areas / platform that only Flare could get to

Hell yes. Flare would have had better (higher) jumping but weaker offensive abilities: thus making the game challenging with a distinct new flavor.

We can dream.

I 100% Dracula X last year as part of a Retro Game Club thing at a Nintendo site - it was included because of it's availability on Wii's VC. I own the game but I could not find my Arcade Card (don't have a Super CD card anymore) so I bought it again on VC to participate. I ended up finding the thing a couple days later
