He should have cut someone in half right down the middle and then stood there posed for 5 seconds before both halves of the victims body burst apart in a fountain of blood. THEN they would have known he was a real ninja.

Maybe he never intended them to take him seriously nor actually rob the store and it was all part of his ninja training, so he could attempt to escape in broad daylight in the middle of the city wearing a ninja costume.

Either way, I'm impressed by his getaway.
