On the off chance you are lurking here:

Per your message sent to me on Sega 16:
Quote from: stellarolaHey Michael,

My name is Ben and you recently bought some games of mine that my wife listed on her ebay account, 'aquamango17'. She just recently started selling on eBay and it appears you left two negs and one neutral. She's pretty upset to say the least. What exactly happened?

Thanks,

Ben
1. It is not proper to message my friends on other forums in order to reach me. If you have an issue with me over an ebay purchase, you fucking message me directly via ebay, where the transaction took place, or via fucking email. You don't contact my personal friends via email, forum, phone, etc, nor try to reach me on gaming forums I hardly ever log in to, let alone any gaming forum at all.

2. Your wife was an ebay noob who I guess thought she was going to be able to over charge on shipping for multiple items.

3. The items did not arrive as described, which was the main problem. "Confirmed tested 100%" means shit works on first try, and works every time. The games arrived and required excessive cleaning before they would work. Also, they arrive in good condition. They don't arrive with cracks in the back of the casing, or with peeling labels (which was an issue with Batman and Thunderforce II).

Per my pm to you on Sega 16:

QuoteMy friend Will stopped by to do some platooning with me this morning on World of Tanks and do some forum lurking and showed me you messaged him on the Neo forums about a purchase I made on ebay.....

Concerning the purchase from your wife, per the tone of her reply, she was evidently slightly irked I asked for a combined rate for winning multiple items. Per the original invoice sent to me, no way in hell would I pay $8.42 to have three Mega Drive carts shipped to me via First Class Mail in a plain bubble mailer, so yeah, I am going to ask for a fair rate. She did charge a fair rate on a revised invoice, but the fact she was irked I asked for one was an issue, let alone the fact I even had to actually ask to begin with.

And the items did not arrive as described, which was the major issue. Getting the carts to work was problematic, especially in the case of Batman and Street Smart. They required excessive cleaning. Street Smart had a crack in the back of the cart also. The main artwork/title labels were also peeling in the back of Batman and Thunderforce. This was not listed in the auction details.

Also, just as a personal note, I had made it a point to mention out the excessive shipping she was charging on her Ys III MD cart, mainly because I wanted to bid but the shipping was listed as too high. That was the main reason why I did not bid on it. Ebay does not care for people trying to skirt seller fees by overcharging on shipping. I checked back to see if she corrected the amount when she relisted, and she did not. TBH, after years of being on ebay, I am tired of seeing new people sign up and deliver shit not as described, or try to profit off of shipping cost. The fact that this shit was pointed out to her and she decided to continue on with the rip off'ish like shipping charge shit told me all I needed to know about the character of the seller

On this particular issue though, the actual purchase, the items I purchased that did not arrive as described, honestly I did not care to waste the energy pursuing a ebay dispute over the damaged cart or bicker over the whole AS-IS mess if she decided to fight a dispute, along with dealing with a return over  afew bucks. The refund amount would not be worth the hassle, and the auctions were listed in bold as "AS-IS", which I guess was a warning sign that things may not actually be as described. My bad for ignoring the warning signs. At any rate, I left my feedback and moved on. I prefer to pick my battles, and this one was not worth $5.

If your wife does not understand ebay seller policies, then please direct her to this link:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html

Pretty much all I have to say on the matter. Your wife got the feedback that fit the situation, and be thankful I don't care to fucking call ebay trust and safety today and inform them that she was having you contact my friend Will over her ebay issues. I am pretty sure that would earn her an instant ban on her account. You want to reach me about an ebay purchase, you do it directly via ebay message system, or the email linked to the payment. You don't contact my personal friends on gaming forums about purchases that do not concern them, nor drop pm's to me on forums I am hardly on.

To add some more detail to this. Basically this Stellarola clown was filled with hurt feelings over his wife's ebay transaction with me that she botched. But instead of messaging me properly through ebay about her feedback, he messages me on Sega 16, which I am hardly ever on. And I guess he got impatient due to lack of replies,  so less then 24 hours later he drops a similar message to my friend Will on Will's Neo forum account to try to get my attention.

CrackTiger

Too bad you can't leave him negative feedback as well.

Even when a seller tries to makes things right after trying to get away with something, they should still receive accurate star ratings in each category and when justified, a negative. Sellers blackmailing people for flawless feedback and crying about their rating being ruined by accurate ratings has completely broken the feedback system.

You know, ebay takes fees out of shipping costs as well now.  Also, postage rates went up in the next year (though they do also allow First Class mail to ship up to just below 16 oz  as well.

Not saying that $8 to ship something first class is fair, but I also never assume someone will combine shipping unless they say so.  To be honest, if I get something and it's not as described I ask the seller and either request a partial refund or a full refund and return.  Ebay is pretty good about letting you return stuff it is not sold as described in the listing and you can prove it.

1.  Don't use a forum post to try to contact someone (presumably not even a member) to bitch about them trying to contact you on a forum.  It's hypocritical and not likely to accomplish a damn thing anyway.

2.  Don't expect combined shipping if it's not listed in the auction terms.  Ask before bidding or move on to a better seller; don't bitch about the terms after you already agreed to them.

3.  Don't complain about peeled labels, feelings of dirt, or lack of box theory on items listed as having 'obvious and significant wear but still operational'.  You rolled the dice and they did indeed eventually work, so you got what you paid for.

I look at it as time versus cost anymore. If the item was of a higher value, then I would have done a return. As is, I was fine just leaving them negative feedback and moving on to the next buy, as opposed to going through the entire hassle of the dispute system, and return shipping, along with bickering back and forth. As for the fees, that is a seller problem that you agreed to when you decided to list the item. Ebay offers shipping discounts to good sellers, so it balances out anyway. If fees are a concern, they should be factored into the auction bid or BIN amount, not factored into the shipping cost after the fact and pushed onto the buyer. One of ebays major gripes was how sellers were trying to pocket cash off of shipping cost.

This is why they have their current policies concerning it in place now, including the DSR so you can downrate sellers who overcharge, and they do ban sellers who are caught overcharging on shipping now (ebay allows buyers to submit to them copies of shipping labels so they can confirm if the buyer was overcharged). Per ebay:

"What you can charge:
Actual shipping cost: This is the amount for shipping the item. It should be what you paid the carrier.
Handling cost: This can include the cost of packaging materials and insurance cost, if any."

Its like a once every two month sorta thing. In your mind it is a daily thing, but that is an issue with your perception of events and how and when they play out. In general, look at how much I buy compared to how often it happens, and the amount of times it happens is fairly small, as is the number of sellers who do shit like this. Almost ALL of my game shopping is mainly done on ebay, as is many other purchases. But honestly I think it would get boring if I constantly blogged and bragged about all my great weekly buys, so I tend to not do that.

But I mean, if you must know, an example for comparison sake, I scored great deals on this stuff over the past three weeks or so on ebay alone:

Genesis model 3 $20
Mega Drive Hokuto No Ken Mega Drive $12.99
Famicom system $29.99
Dracula XX SFC $54.99
Battle Blaze  SFC $.99
Don Doko Don PCE $14.99
Marchen Maze PCE $12.99
Volfied PCE $7.99
Genji Tsushin Agedama PCE $17.99
Magicoal PCE $17.00
Super Chase HQ Snes $7.99
Fatal Fury Snes $4.99
Ys III Snes $16.99

Ebay expects the seller to offer it now. They expect the seller to charge actual shipping cost for the total purchase. Not doing so violates their terms of use, and gets the sellers shipping DSR trashed into oblivion, leading to a eventual seller account ban. Not a hard one to figure out there.

I said nothing of dirt or lack of a box. Those are your words, not mine. I left nothing in the feedback about the labels because that to me fell into iffy territory, though it would have been nice to have had said info listed since it was not made known and was not visible in the pics, it was not some kind of deal breaker and fell within the spectrum of "acceptable".  TBH I had to go back and look at the pics of the items, and if you looked at what I got versus what they posted pics of, you would not think they were the same items. The items still have to arrive in the condition they were depicted in in the pics. These carts did not.

Either way, what I paid for mainly was games listed as tested confirmed 100 percent working.  100 percent working means 100 percent. You stick it in, it works every time you power up.  It does not mean "only confirmed 100 percent working after you take the carts apart and sand and polish the contacts to make them work". Some average guy with no tech nohow would be left wondering why his q-tips and alcohol isn't working, stuck with said games not working correctly at all if he had got them. They only work now because I made them work well, because I knew what to do.

No cracks were shown in the pics for Street Smart. In the pics the cart was undamaged physically. Games not working upon delivery, needing to be physically taken apart and sanded due to corrosion on the pins, and me having to fix a crack in the shell with JB Weld, that shit 100 percent qualifies for "items not as described". The feedback left was proper.

The seller was upset with the feedback they got. That is their problem. Tough shit for them. Maybe someone here will get a laugh out of this, the fact some chick ran to her husband crying about her feedback, having him try to chase down said buyer on multiple forums instead of just being a responsible seller and handling her own shit. Thats all I can hope for, that this will bring a few laughs or chuckles or something.

It's why I always offer free shipping on ebay. That way no one can try to get me to combine shipping costs.

I don't care what ebay expects.  I'm adult enough to not commit to buying something that I know I'll have to argue.

That was obviously a joke, but you most certainly did complain about having to clean the games, ergo they were dirty.  Duh.

I didn't bother to look up each auction, but the peeling label was pretty obvious in the pics of the one I did look at (Street Smart).  In any case, I'm not trying to argue the feedback given was inappropriate; she got what she deserved and I really don't get why the dipshit couple are so worked up over it.
Ultimate Forum Bully/Thief/Saboteur/Clone Warrior! BURN IN HELL NECROPHUCK!!!

Per what I said originally, the main artwork/title labels were also peeling in the back of Batman and Thunderforce. Yeah Steet Smart was visible in the pics, so I did not mention that one. Batman and Thunderforce label issue was not listed in the auction details or shown in the pics. The pics don't show them peeling off at all as far as I can tell. I mean literally hanging off on the upper back area all loose. Like I said, there was wear on the carts not present in the pics, and the crack on Street Smart most definitely was not there in the pics. There was no "dirt" anywhere on the carts. The pins had no dirt. They had corrosion and some other kinda gunk going on. I guess filthy would have been the more proper label to give the carts pins as opposed to dirty if you want to be anal about it.

I'm adult enough to go by what ebay set up with their every changing policies, both when I buy and sell. I am also adult enough to read said policies on any given site before I set up a seller account. Everyone else has to adjust to the change in ebay seller polices, not just me. So so do these two assholes right along with us. Sucks for them. Maybe the guy will jump on or whatever. I dropped his wife a PM on ebay to see if she wants to respond. Will post an update if she does, though I do not expect her to do so.

Nope. Just left that feedback and moved on. Did not even do a follow up on their feedback. Time and energy versus cost. They didn't want to put any time or energy into making sure the items arrived ok, so I opted to put the same kind of effort back in that they did when they sent the items. If it seemed like it was an issue that could be resolved to my liking I'd have tried, but for a few bucks it isn't worth it for people that clearly did not give a flying fuck until they got negatives left on their account.

If they were honestly interested in making it right they could have apologized and sent a feedback revision request and all, which I may have worked with them on, but they were more interested in doing follow up feedback on their account that tried to save face while attempting to lay the blame entirely on me anyway. So I was not inclined to worry about it.

I mean, all they did was toss 3 loose carts in a bubble mailer. They did not add any individual padding to the games or take any steps to prevent them from damaging each other in transit, so I am not sure if what all that was going on with them physically was due to damage during shipping, or something they did prior to packing just to be assholes.

There was no care involved in the packing job. Its up to the seller to make sure they do what they can to insure the items arrive in the condition they were listed in. The seller made no effort, so they did not strike me as someone who gave a flying fuck either way. Nothing about the transaction was positive.

To be clear on this, after the initial invoice, I asked for a combined shipping rate using First Class Mail, and they did do one of $4.00, which for First Class Mail is not bad. I did not dictate this exact amount to them. It was the number they decided upon and tossed back at me. If they felt this amount would compromise their ability to pack 3 Mega Drive carts securely together, then they should have spoken up before sending a revised invoice, or just sent one for $5 instead of $4.

As is, we are talking minimal effort here while being able to maximize protection by preventing the carts from damaging each other anyway. All they had to do was stick the games together back to back in a small ziplock bag and tape it tight around the carts to keep them from banging around. Or place the the carts together back to back wrapped in a sheet of typing paper and tape it up so they are packed tight, then insert that in the bubble mailer they used. We are talking like 10 cents worth of extra material here and 2 mins of time maybe, so if $10 cents is all it would have taken to make them give a damn, they could have simply sent me an invoice for $4.10.

SignOfZeta

Do you have a link to the original auction? I'd like to count the red flags.

Also, regarding the $8. Aparently this is a completely insane overcharge of some kind...but even if free shipping is promised then it is a maximum gouging of $8. That is not a lot. It's not enough to go on 10,000 word screed, that's for sure. Assuming actual shipping cost is like $5 (can it really be less?) then the PCEFX forums only gets penelized 3.3k words for every $1 you got ripped off. IMO that's you pricing yourself out of the market. You have to have some standards, man. Don't let random eBay people have this kind of power over you. It can't be good for your health.

You are very caught up on the whole thing of thinking I have been stressed out and worried about this shit all this time. The fact is once I paid the games were not on my mind till they arrived. It did not cross my mind again until it was time to leave feedback. I actually forgot to leave feedback, so it took me awhile to get to it.

From then on it was out of sight and out of mind again till a friend shows me this idiot messaged him. I learned about it today, not weeks ago. By this time tomorrow it will be the same deal as per usual, out of sight, and out of mind. But hey Zeta, you go on and feel free to stress out over my imagined stress you think I am suffering.   I appreciate your concern. Right now though you're the only one wanting to stress over it, wanting to examine auction details and shit and do point by point analysis after the fact, like any of it even concerns or affects you on any given level.

Its a pretty cut and dry situation. Items arrived not as pictured and described. Negative feedback given, case closed. The only reason you even got the details above in prior post was to give context to the thing, nothing more then that. No one forced you to read any of this, did they? I mean, you're like this one guy who is still following me around years later reading my shit constantly and posting after me complaining about anything I say, like people here have strapped you down and forced those eye lids open and made you read EVERY SINGLE FUCKING WORD I HAVE EVER TYPED. I mean seriously, you beat out Nintega for the STALK MICHAEL AWARD.

In contrast to this, you wanna know why I hardly ever reply back to any of your own post? Seriously, wanna know why? Cause I don't give a flying fuck about you. In that respect, I don't get your obsession with me. For someone who supposedly hates me so much and thinks so little of me, you sure have followed my ass around enough on here. For the most part I just ignore you and chalk it up to you doing harmless gay PCEFX stalker business.

But seriously, why do you care so much about what I say on here, or what I do? Just back out and go read more important threads and reply to those. You have an ignore feature, put me on it and move on. In a bit of tit for tat, you stressing out about my threads and what I post, and what sellers I might post about is going to send you to an early grave. Don't let some random PCEFX'er have this kind of power over you, especially for so many years now. It can't be good for your health.

I think the sellers couple dick move wasn't only just sending the broken carts, but rather trying to contact the buyer through other guys on forums. They just should have used ebay's contact form.

So if the seller went the indescrete way in communicating on the back of other people, I don't see a problem that Prod is doing his own public rant to let some steam off

Since he's not in here to tell his side of the story, here's what Stellarolla said about this transaction over on the Neo forums:

QuoteMy wife wanted to make some extra cash and to get started selling on eBay. I gave her my lot of loose Mega Drive games to sell. These games all came from Japan when I bought my Mega Drive about two months ago. I'd guess around 20-30 titles.

She lists them and most sell on average about $5-$7 a piece. I made sure she took photos of the front, back, and the game working in the Mega Drive. I also made sure that she put the condition as "acceptable" and to put that due to the age, these are being sold as-is, no returns.

This one buyer ('Monolith' on the forum) immediately after winning the bid begins to tell her how he has already weighed out his own Mega Drive games in a bubble mailer and how much the shipping should cost. He also starts "mansplaining" to her how ebay "works" and if you don't do it his way you could get negative feedback from other ebayers.

Anyway, I tell her we shouldn't ship it in a bubble mailer since there are more than two games. Per his insistent request we ship his games in a bubble mailer. He receives them and writes two negatives saying the games were not in good condition and took a lot of cleaning. Another feedback was that he said she was "irked" when he asked to combine shipping.

The only thing we said in response was for him to ask prior to bidding next time for combine shipping. His "bubble mailer" price didn't include a box, or insurance, etc. Also, he said he received a game that was cracked on the back.

His feedback says we didn't pack it well. DUDE?! You asked for it to be mailed the absolute cheapest way, you fucking bastard. Also, you gonna give her practically 3 negs for less than $20 in games??

He goes by professorprofessorson on eBay. Checking his left feedback for other users, he does this a lot.

These games were obviously used and in acceptable condition. He has a Mcdonalds budget, but expects filet mignon. I think he abused his buyer rights. Fuck this guy.

He just goes around making assumptions based on what, minimal research he did on someone posting a link that mentions me I guess?

I don't post or hang out on the Neo forums. I have not owned a NeoGeo in quite some time, gave my last MVS away a long while back to a friend of Hercs, as I have ZERO interest in it these days, and no longer personally mess with Jamma stuff, so I wont be joining there again just to argue back and forth with Aquaman69 and her husband or wtf ever.

As for the whole thing of me telling them what they weighed, yes I did, after they sent me the original  jacked up invoice. I never named a price, or made demand of one. I just requested First Class Mail, because I knew it could be done, and prefer it to assholes shipping games via Media Mail or trying to rape on shipping charges, then shipping via Media Mail after said rape.

Her response was
QuoteDear professorprofessorson,

The shipping in the listing was based on eBay suggested defaults. I'll weight it all out tomorrow and send you over an invoice.

Thanks

- aquamango17
And this is the reply I sent "his wife" after she messaged me back saying it was a default invoice that was auto generated and that she would get me a quote:

IMG

Kinda been on there long enough to know the difference between ebays automated invoices, and ones sent by a seller, and the one they sent was not automated and came hours after I had won and received the original default ones issued by ebays automated system. So they got a friendly message of sorts since they are supposedly "new" to ebay (at this point its clear to me its an alt account, and that the guy probably trashed his own already prior and is having to use his wifes).

Their reply back to that was:

IMG

I replied back to that with this:

IMG

After that I called it a day. The only goal was to maybe salvage the seller at that point, and I got the feeling they did not care. It kinda sucks because I was hoping they were going to be a regular import seller I could do regular business with, but it became clear this was a cash out sorta thing on some games and the seller had no intention of being a decent ebay seller. You dont demand buyers contact you about shipping like that prior to bids unless you are concerned it will affect your profits you planned to reap from the shipping cost.

That pretty much told me all that I needed to know, that they were trying to skirt the ebay seller fees. They never did change the almost $8 shipping cost on Ys III on Mega Drive they had listed, even on the relist, nor post any disclaimers about their shipping policies on other listings. Basically they were trying to base their shipping cost around what they wanted to actually make on each game to skirt the fees.

Ebay does not require any bidder to notify any seller in advance of placing bids about wanting combined shipping on multiple purchases. This is for multiple reasons, including the fact that sellers may refuse to reply hoping to ensnare the bidder into winning, then dumping high shipping cost on them after the fact.

The fact of the matter is that if the seller is so against combined shipping rates, they should have put it in their auction details from jump street. Odds are good they wouldn't last long on ebay after doing this, but still, that would have been the proper way to display that kind of disclaimer, and I let them know that.

For me, I bid on the games I won while I was on my damn Samsung Galaxy while on the way to the hospital to visit my mother. I placed the bids near the end of the auction. On mobile, the only info you get when viewing ebay is of a brief description of the item, the option to bid, and the pics.

Like I said, put the games in a zip lock bag, tape them securely back to back, and drop them in a mailer and they would have arrived fine. My take on it is the seller seemed to be kinda dickish about it by taking me literally and just tossing them in a mailer and saying fuck it. I have a feeling they stepped on the package first just to make a point.

CONCERNING THEIR FEEDBACK. When I went to leave them the feedback, I did not downrate their DSR for shipping time, communication, or shipping cost. I only downrated their DSR for the "Item as described" rating. They earned their lower DSR ratings from other bidders.

Either way, if the seller wants to get it handled and make good on the damaged carts, you don't do it by sending your husband to contact people I know, hunt me down on forums or anything like that. If the husband was so insecure about the way they were doing it, he could have messaged me his concern at that point in time. They are the one that did the invoice for 4 bucks, not me. Be a fucking man already. Its your games guy, not your wifes.

They could have said $4-5.50 and that would have been a perfectly reasonable amount for First Class Mail. You have to be a total fucking noob at shipping to not know how to manage mailing something like a few loose carts, and they botched it completely, either on purpose, or out of stupidity. I dont care at this point whichever it was.

A better question at this point though is, as my friend pointed out, why is this guy having his wife sell his shit and handle his business on ebay. What kinda fucking pussy is he? The odds are its more like the guy is using his wife's account to sell shit, hiding behind her name, and after he fucked things up for her and she saw it, she got pissed.

That may have been their goal, but you can't skirt fees with s&h shenanigans.  The final value fee is based on the total paid by the buyer including everything (item price, shipping, insurance, etc.) except sales tax.

I'm not getting involved in which party is right or wrong. Well it was definitely wrong for the seller to contact you outside eBay through a forum, but anyways..

Just to let you know as it seems you don't know that eBay charges the seller fees on shipping now aswell. As a seller you now pay a fee on overall shipping cost which is exactly the same as the fee for the sold item, so effectively the higher you charge for shipping the higher your seller fees will be.

Actually, I know this, but many new sellers dont. What I also know, that many seasoned sellers know, is that shipping in ebay is now discounted when purchased through them and paypal, if you have a account in good standing. That discount basically nullifies the shipping fees.

I was thinking about the whole shipping thing the other day.  Because ebay charges fees on shipping, and the seller never sees the "extra" money on top of the the discounted shipping they get, ebay is basically charging the fees to the buyer.

It's free to make an ebay account, but if you ever win something you are paying them every time. ;)

That is the email my friend Will sent me to post on PCEFX so they would know he and I are not the same guy, since Jibba posted something you said in regards to Will's account being mine, and I informed him about it. I give people I know direct links to copy paste on forums all the time when sharing shit. I also give direct access to my photobucket and other non-important shit to people I know personally like Quoth09/Eric Neal, and Will, the guy you fucked over on the Neo forums with your cry baby bullshit. I have nothing to hide from them, and it is not some precious resource or family heirloom. Its a fucking file share page in the form of hosting pics, of which the entire point of is to share its content, not keep it locked away privately forever.

And just to feed that paranoia a bit more about my vast and far reaching buyer influence reaching all ends of the universe, I list and buy stuff for other people on ebay and on forums too as a proxy. I did it here on Sega 16 so they could get the tech manual. I did it years prior on the Neo forums when I was a member. I have had friends on there and elsewhere buy shit for me years back when they spotted something they thought Id want, and I have done the same for them. Its called, doing things for friends. Its an amazing thing.

So if I really wanted to bury you in a quagmire of shit, I'd just have friends keep an eye out for your sale threads on any given forum, and place high dollar orders, then trash your paypal account with buyer disputes 5 months later when you least expect it. But I'm not that kinda guy....or am I? Baaa haa haa haaa haaa!

Since you seem to favor milking a victim complex, this is the best time to do it as any, because if I really wanted you to be a victim, I'd make you one if I was that kinda guy. :P

Be thankful I am not. I cant vouch for Will though. You made a life long enemy there, so I guess you better be on a look out for all those villainy wily Will guys. One of them may be my friend.

Rot banning Will from the Neo forums over your bullshit has been resolved. Its kinda funny, because we actually thought the ban was from something else until I looked into this more today. Will will make another account if he needs to purchase something from a member. Will isn't going to stress over it because he has no ties to that forum, just interest in the shooters on the system. Will would have privately and gladly gave Rot his full name, mailing address, email, etc, prior, though, as a courtesy, had Rot went about it the right way originally, in a effort to shut your dumb ass down for tossing out false accusations. But this was only if Rot had actually taken the time to ask before buying into your bullshit. But Rot is probably like one of the worst moderators ever I am told, so him actually doing fact checking would be a fucking shock. What I have seen of him now, I'm not impressed.[/B]

She was fucked from the get go when you won the bids. You are a problem buyer.
I never specified or dictated a shipping amount. You did on your own back to me, using your wifes ebay account to drop me pms. Lets drop the bs here and now. You used her account to sell shit and send messages, and you thought you were going to bypass ebay seller fees by pocketing money from shipping charges. The only reason you had a conniption is because your wife saw you destroyed her account.  The only reason she was fucked was because she was stupid enough to hand the keys over to you in the first place.

Before I even left my feedback, your DSR was dropping. The only DSR I gave you anything other then 5 stars on was the item description, which I gave you 2 stars on. Everything else DSR wise has nothing to do with me. You did that shit to yourself.
Quote from: PCEngineHellConcerning shipping cost, I'm not a noob, and I shut that shit down fast. If you honestly had any concern about packing, you could have charged more then $4 and informed me as to why, if you felt like doing so. $4-$5.50 is in the perfectly reasonable range of shipping cost for the games I got from you via First Class Mail. The choice to charge the lowest amount in that margin was your choice. The $12 you tried to charge on the initial invoice that you, not ebay, had sent, was not reasonable, so tough shit guy.

At any given moment between then and now you could have messaged me via ebay. You dragged this onto a forum I am not even a member of, thus affecting my friends membership, and you stalked me over to here on Sega 16, where I have not even posted since helping people here get that one service tech manual. Basically you went out of your way to NOT contact me, because if you really wanted to reach me, you could have done so on ebay instantly, or joined PCEFX where I actually post at daily and dropped me a pm. Instead you chose to go to places that I am not a member of, or to go to places I hardly post at, mainly to drum up drama and try to get a one sided lynch mob going and make it appear as if you made some legit effort to contact me. Not the brightest one in the bunch, are you?

Quote from: stellarola-Items were listed as acceptable condition and due to age were being sold with no returns. Games were shown working and full shots of the front and back of carts.
And yet when they arrived Street Smart was physically damaged, as in a crack in the back if the shell. All the carts were more scratched up in person then what was depicted in the pics. The labels were peeling on all of them, though that was one of the things I did not actually hold against you, cause I see this happen a lot on MD carts. But honestly, I had to go back and look, because what arrived did not look like what was listed. Regardless of acceptable, you are still responsible of making sure the items arrive in the condition they were listed in, physically, and functionally. Neither of which happened.

I had to repair the Street Smart cart with JB Weld, and sand all the cart pins and polish them to get the carts working. I dont know how much spit you happened to blow into them to get a connection at the time you took pics showing them working, but the connector pins were oxidized bad. Had these been more expensive carts, I would have did a dispute. Since they were not, and since it was obvious you were just a shitty seller, I just left you negatives and a neutral and moved on with my life.

Sure guy. You know, out of over 200 transactions over the past year on purchases, I have only had 7 problem sellers. 3 were just plain non-shippers, which is a auto negative. The other 4 were sellers for items not as described. You are one of those 4. This is barely over 1 percent of my total transactions, so you feel free to contact as many sellers as you like. The 923 positive feedback I received from sellers, along with the 450 something positives I received from buyers overshadows any bullshit you can or make up,, let alone conjure up, from contacting other shitty sellers.

No, yours were the moment you thought you'd log in and pretend to be your wife and sell your shit under the assumption you'd do jacked up shipping cost on bidders after they won. You trashed your wife's account. I lost nothing on this outside of time from having to fix the games I got off you. You could have easily prevented them from getting damaged had you simply put them back to back and taped them together so they would not bang into each other or something. If a few bits of tape and a piece of paper to wrap around the games cost so damn much for you, then I would have gladly forked over the extra 10 cents so I wouldn't have to stress over you having to go to the soup kitchen or hear about your bitching today on the Neo forums.

The only lesson I learned here today was that when I thought I had seen all there is to see as far as some clown having the ability be a whiny little bitch on a gaming forum, you managed to surpass all expectations and show me there is always something new in store on the net to laugh over.

"Acceptable" doesn't give you a free pass to have the games not work as described in the auction details, or arrive in a condition other then what was shown in the pics.

Bernie

Yes, cause even tho its listed as "acceptable" the item description says confirmed working 100%.  That would have meant to me the acceptable rating was cosmetic related.  When you have to take games apart to clean them so they work???  They either lied about them working 100%, or shipped him different carts.

When sellers use "fixed price" shipping, Ebay allows shipping prices to be higher than the actual shipping cost.  Sellers are not required to reduce shipping as long as each item's individual charge is under the maximum shipping price.  It might seem morally wrong to charge 12 bucks for three carts won in separate auctions, but it's not a violation of policy.  (To avoid trouble, the safest approach for a seller who wants to ream the buyer is to send the carts in three separate bubble mailers, each at a $1.50 actual cost, while collecting $12 in shipping fees.  That's totally allowed.)

A bit of advice... Ebay does have a feedback extortion policy.  Your message that talked about how "people" have left negative feedback for sellers when they failed to lower their shipping price was not technically extortion in my opinion (since you didn't say that *you* would leave negative feedback), but it skirted very close to that line.  If the seller opened a case against you, the outcome would depend on the mood of whoever was reviewing it that day.  You will want to be careful in the future, otherwise your account might have its buying privileges revoked.
