Getting greedy, aren't you? Any more of an asshole and you can run for politics.
I'm at least already local city council asshole level. Gotta work towards State or Federal senator level asshole.

It's pretty rapid. No complaints here. :)
That is the only acceptable F15... ;)  Until they break...  of course I'm just a dried up old ex-BMW tech so I'm a little jaded.  The N63 engine broke me.

Some sort of detriment to life. A waste of body cells. Middle-class or lower-upperclass, SUV driving, bitch?

Damn.... that cuts me deep.  :P

I've been informed that I am an asshole for having my BMW motorcycle in the back yard. By my landlord.  #-o. I sincerely wonder what kind of BMW he drives.

Here's hoping that I can get the fuel pump and tires fixed sooner than later.  8-[

Quote from: Desh on 01/18/2016, 07:21 PMI still think "Mustang Head" is the worst form of automotive snobbery.  Example:  "No way you could beat me in a race.  I got an 88' GT with the 5 point O.  Fastest year from the factory."
Totally agree.  Over the years I've had multiple Mustang drivers trying to race me on the streets/freeway.  I had one fucking idiot revving his engine, with his buddy hanging out the window and gesturing at me, trying to get me to race.  It was a pitiful display.  Seems like Mustang drivers are always trying to prove their cars are fast.

My dad used to drive a BMW years ago, but he's definitely an asshole.   He's a Land Rover driver now and they seem to be even bigger assholes.

BlueBMW

If you can catch a land rover from the early 2000s they're essentially a BMW.  I honestly wouldn't mind like a 2002 land rover with the 4.4 V8.  Those are basically 85% a BMW X5 of the same year.  Same engine, same electronics, everything.  I can hook up diagnostics to one of those and tell the system its a 2002 X5 and I can talk to nearly every control module in the car.  Plus that V8 was baller awesome.  BMW M62TU was a fabulous engine if not a little high in the maintenance department

In San Diego there's a mustang car club called wicked stangs. It is hilarious, and now whenever I see a mustang I can't help but say wicked stang bruh!

csgx1

I do like the 2002+ Range Rover, those look nice.  I knew that Land Rover and BMW shared a lot of component but didn't know about the same engine.  Interesting, so reliability is probably a lot better compared to the 90's models?  I know the older Range Rovers had major problems which deters me from ever getting any Land Rover.

That's funny.  Sounds familiar, I think there's a low rider group in Nor Cal that's called wicked riders.  Probably not related.

So are you bmw drivers admitting to cutting us off or speeding by us like assholes? Also Darkkobob can not afford a Beamer being a Walmart greeter but good for you man. You got flare.

That is an affirmative!

Though truly, I drive slow like a grandpa these days.  Though I blame some of it on the fact that I only have the 6 cylinder engine and my BMW is crazy heavy.  Add that to the high altitude here and the thing is a real dog.

Personally speaking, no. I don't drive like an asswipe, never have. There's a nearby large closed-off place (used to be a race track) where we go sometimes on a weekend where I let the car loose, so to speak.
But on normal working hours or just general driving on the road I'm always respectful to other drivers. My wife even has to scold me sometimes to put the foot down otherwise "we'll be late, again!"

Sparky

I am just fucking in fighting street guys :P blue beam and I'm sure some of you others with bmws are not assholeeeee-oooo's but my stretch of the highway to work is full of them.

It's usually the young kids who think the car makes them a bad ass.  Somehow they are superior to everyone else and their car is unstoppable.  Sorry kiddo, daddy's BMW doesn't make you cool.

While true, I've known several middle aged upper management types to feel and act the same way.

Mine's only 3 cylinder! Still pulls like a train.

Truth. My old boss had a 735i with 315,500K, and sold it running to a family of 4 for $4,000. He kept it in perfect shape.

A 3? Is yours from the 1970's?

Everyone can afford and should experience the power, elegance & luxury of a BMW Ultimate Driving Machine once in their lifetime.

Check the dealer link below for competitive pricing on a brand new 4 Series convertible.  Walmart employees should receive discounts and be able to negotiate below MSRP/sticker price.  Financing or layaway options might just help make the dream become a reality.

I saw a 320i with MA plates on the highway today... they were behaving themselves. It's a strange world.

I feel this way about Lexus drivers. In my experience, they seem very . . . entitled.

Of course, no one needs to own a BMW or Lexus to act this way, and it may be that we just tend to notice when these drivers act like jerks. Doesn't keep me from feeling that Lexus drivers tend to be douchey.

No it's brand new! 3 cylinders are all the rage in Europe these days. 1.5 litre turbo. Cruise control at 50mph in 5th yields 90mpg+

Lexus intentionally conditions their customers this way.  The way they treat customers at the Lexus dealer is basically a massive ass kissing session.  "Wow, you drive a Lexus?  You are so smart!  You have really great taste!  You are so much better than everyone else!"
