TG-16 disassembly/etc - any special screwdrivers/tools needed?

Noob question - what, if any, special screwdriver heads/tools are needed to disassemble a standard black US/NTSC turbografx-16? (for purposes of repair, or cosmetic cleaning/wash of the outer plastic shell)

You need a Torx screwdriver (I forget the size) and also a soldering iron to remove the RF shielding. Yes, NEC was too cheap to use screws, so RF shield is fastened with solder.

its not a torx. its a 4.5mm gamebit. there probably is an actual term for the type of screw head but everyone calls them gamebits.

I remember my TG16 using torx screws, like the PC Engine Duo.

it doesnt unless someone replaced the screws in yours. it defiantly uses "gamebit" screws. The Turbo Duo uses them also. The PCE Duo uses a security torx T10 size. Its a little different than a regualr torx as the driver needs a hole in the middle.

i found the correct term, its a "line head" screw

Awesome, thanks so much guys.
Mostly asking since I'll be getting a used system and want to be able to clean the plastic shell. I already have a gamebit driver set, glad to know it's the same as the other systems.
(Not new to retro systems, just new to TG hardware)

Just for visual clarification, my old TG16 and my current PCE Duo system use these types of screws on the outside.

yours may have those, but if it does, someone put them in there after they took it apart. they could have stripped out the originals or lost them maybe. see here where someone is taking one apart.
