For me it's a toss-up between Darkwing Duck and Falcon. Darkwing Duck just feels so off compared to the vastly superior NES version... it wasn't the worst game ever, but it just felt incredibly dull and uninspired. Falcon's concept was quite decent, but the execution was abysmal. So yeah, definitely either one of those 2 for me.

The NES game isn't the same version. It's a completely different game based on the same license. And yes, obviously it's far superior game.

When I played the original Falcon the manual basically tutorialed you through the first mission or two. You need to know what to deploy to avoid running out of fuel, not being able to hit your targets, or weighing down the plane to where it handles like crap. Flying a real F-16 isn't easy so neither will be the simulator.

I think the only flaw with this game was not giving it Power Console compatibility (ha!) or support for something else with more buttons.

Trying to map something like 200 separate buttons switches knobs etc to even a 108 keyboard is trickly. Cramming it into a two button digital pad is...well, that was probably the biggest fuckup they made.
