This Shuttle turned out to be in much poorer condition that I had been led to believe when I bought it a while back. It's worn and there is still some dust in tight spaces after cleaning it. The expansion port cover is included. The (pictured in the lot pic, but not included) A/V cable I got with it produces a poor picture, so I'm including one of my custom cables (seen in the final pic) that produces a better picture than first party cables. The pad looks dusty, but it has been cleaned. It just looks like that, but works fine, as does the Shuttle itself. The AC adaptor is also worn. No games are included. $60 + shipping by Canada Post.

Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Pretty much the same system, just different shape.  I think that its not compatible with the CD systems either.

It has a nerfed expansion port, so no CD add on, no tennokoe 2, etc etc. Really just no CD add on because you can get a Shuttle specific memory device.

I've never seen one in person but it looks to be a good 80% bigger than a standard PCE.

Yeah they are huge, and feel kind of cheap compared to the solid hunk of technology that is the CoreGafx. The plastic seems to be the same but the fact that it's mostly empty makes to feel light and a bit flimsy me, it makes hollow noises when you move it, and the card port door is really cheap feeling, although they are quite cool in a weird way. And if you add the memory unit to the back the extra bit of heft makes it feel a bit more subtantial in your hand though.

As a PCE collector it's worth owning but I can kinda see why these didn't catch on. They just don't ooze quality like any other piece of NEC hardware does and it's a weird design over all.

I also once read that by the time they came out, used PC Engines could be had for cheaper. No point in paying more money to deny yourself CD possibilities.

Yeah why they did that still confuses me... I mean, ALMOST all of the connections are there, why not make it an option at least? Because a Shuttle hooked up to a Super CDROM2 would be amazingly awesome.

Samurai:  really?  I actually feels differntly.. i think it looks cool as fock, and not flimsy at all.  in fact it has a damn cool design factor to it.. i.e. the controller ports are like "shuttle bay doors", where your lift it to expose the connectors.  it is really meticulous made...

keep in mind this was segmented to kids (hence the box design with all the kiddies).. so that's why you rarely see them pop up for sale esp with the originals (cuz kids just toss that sh*t!! lol).

i'm happy to have bought it (I dropped $260 for my complete one) and will keep it as a perm collection.  i like the look and it has the same mystique as the SuperCD attachement for me :)

HappyGamer has a really good review on the Shuttle on YouTube:

Samurai Ghost

I think the design is quite cool, it just does feel as solid to me as the CoreGrafx which is as sturdy as a brick. There's just a lot of empty space inside the machine so it's kind of light feeling. But it's definitely a cool system. I would have bought 5 of them if I didn't think so!

I'd be interested to see if the purchaser of this shuttle can bring it back to life and make it look all pretty :D
