2/13/2025: Localization News - Cosmic Fantasy 3-4!

Rather earth-shattering news in the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 community: Cosmic Fantasy 3 & 4 has been officially localized to English by Edia 30 years later for the Switch! Hard to believe! I know their script quality is poor given the 1&2 port but still good to see.

I use google docs (er...drive) and it has been fine for me. I only need basic info so I do not end up with duplicates. Drive also supports crating links for sharing to the world. Do you like SortItApps b/c of the scanning(my PCB's do not have barcodes)? Does it have prefilled database with game data (release dates, meg size, company, etc)? Does it have imports? Any more details you can tell us about it?

I also use VAPS, Atari Age, Daisakusen for my detailed data using external links from the spreadsheet.

it has a prefill info for scanning but is reliant on the database it uses but work great on my megadrive, 360, ps3, ps2, psp and platstation 1 games. you can add the info you were saying but does not have meg size that would be a good edition and if it picks up nothing you can add all the info your self then go to Google image's for box art, screens shots and stuff

its free to use just no offline caching in the free version and if you buy it you can export to excel for a dame detailed spreed sheet but to no option to import.

yea there is plenty of apps for this but to be honest ones i have tried have been lacking in a lot of things, this one is pretty dame good best i have seen and its free give it a try nothing to lose.

There website has got the a collection database for just about any collecting.

I also use Google Docs.  Once you have a smartphone it's really easy to look up stuff, and cross reference everything.  My only problem is I only have certain things in there, so big sets like Genesis and occasionally NES/N64/SNES I need to use my memory instead and that's far less reliable.

suppose i could export a spreed sheet and put it on my box account or google docs handy to have there as well

Because I haven't found a collection program that is any less work (or more fun, depending on how you look at it) than maintaining a spreadsheet, I've been toying with the idea of developing my own game library manager website/mobile app. I've done a few wire-frames in FW and talked to a couple mobile-app guys about it, but I haven't gotten my concept documented to the point where it's significantly better than anything else out there, so I don't know if it'll ever see the light of day. :/

I have this app for my ipod Touch but I also made a custom spreadsheet checklist that I have sent to a few forum members.
