I've been looking for this one also. The JP double-case version is dirt-cheap, but the last complete US one (no box) went for almost $50 shipped. Only one US one on eBay right now sitting at $52 BIN.

USA version did not come with a box. And its going for that high now?  I just bought mine sealed last year for 35.  Wow.

Someone had a huge lot of sealed ones around the same time the lot of Monster Lair and Loom showed up. For a long time this was one of the harder to find games for the system in the US, largely due to the demand for JRPGs.

I got mine used but CIC (with map too) on ebay for $33 shipped about 6 months ago. The guy had several of them.

If you really wanna play it, this is a game that can be bought off eBay on the cheap side.  Go for it.

That game seemed to fluctuate in price more than any other game...It was selling for $60-75 on ebay for quite a few years then all of a sudden there was a flood of sealed ones for $25-35 and used ones were about $20 but it seems like recently that they have gone back up above $50.

Many turbo games don't show up often on ebay, regardless of average price. A couple reasonably priced copies of Dragon Slayer have sold recently though-

Gah!  I was really hoping to pick this up some day (I had the pce version about 15 years ago and never got more than a couple dungeons in) but that's more than I can justify paying for a mediocre rpg, even if it's one of the few official rpg US releases (and has awesome music!).  With all of the recent translation hullabaloo for PCE rpgs, I'm really not that upset.
