No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! So here I am! I had originally joined the neo-geo.com forums due to my love for all things neo, but some of the guys there told me that I should come this way to satisfy my pce urge. Seems like the place to be :)

My collection is not overly large at the moment, but I think I have a fairly nice cross-section of things. Thus far:

A PC Engine Duo-R, for all the goodness that entails, complete with 2 snazzy controllers and a 5p tap
Akumajo Dracula X
Macross 2036
Cosmic Fantasy II
Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari
Dragon Slayer
Dungeon Explorer II
Xanadu I and II
Gulliver Boy
Lords of Thunder
Nexzr
Panic Bomber(man)
Rayxanber II and III
Spriggan
Star Parodier
Super Raiden
Vasteel
Wonderboy III
Ys IV

I also have an Everdrive for enjoying some HuCard games while I work on collecting actual legit titles for the collection. In addition, I currently have Ys I & II, Ys III, Hyper Wars, a Tennokoe Bank, an Avenue Pad 6, and a Duo-RX pad (people say it sucks, but I like the way it feels/looks) coming in the mail.

welcome welcome.   This really is a fantastic place.  Great PCE collection you got there. PCE is the way to be.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)
BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Welcome to Pcenginefx!

Great start on a PC Engine library of good games!  I recommend that you get your system region-modded and s-video-modded by one of the techs here, so that you can also play the TurboGrafx-16 HuCard games as well.

That was a thought that had occurred to me, but at this point I am having wayyyyy too much fun with the system and just couldn't part with it for so long :(

I thank you sir! It's a start at least haha. Up next on my list will be an Arcade Card Duo, as well as a replacement laser or two to hold onto for a stormy day. Beyond that, I am not entirely sure which direction I want to go from there. I do want to try to track down a region/bigger screen modded pce gt if at all possible at some point though! Also collecting (to play!) games for my NeoGeo systems detracts a bit from the pce acquisitions, but I am slowly growing everything out :)

Ave pad, Ys 3, and Tennokoe bank came in yesterday! Wooooo! Now I just wish I could figure out how to delete the existing info on the banks without having to go through all the hassle. Ah well, still friggin awesome though.

On another note, I'll be acquiring a boxed Hori Fight Stick PC pretty soon and am super jazzed about it :D

Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Such a great system yet so little time but I definitely appreciate all the help form you and my other ng.com pals getting me set up with my CoreGrafx2+Super CDrom2 + games, Hori stick, RGB mods etc etc etc. The list is endless.
