I test drove a bottle at a local winery.  'Twasn't bad, but it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting.
didja see that item on the local news about a new place opening up that specializes in mead?

Nope - where's it at?  The winery I was talking about was near Norfolk.

Right down by Offutt, eh?  I'm rarely down that way, but I'll be sure to stop in next time I'm near.

I tried some when I went back home to Delaware. It was awesome. I wish they had a place near me in PA like the one in that news article.

I picked up a six pack of Sierra Nevada's Ruthless Rye IPA tonight and it's pretty tasty.

I tried some the other day, they're pretty good.
my roommate found a new favorite, which is kinda bad, i'm all of 5 blocks away.

I normally go to a beverage warehouse near me that pretty much as everything.  However I was lazy today and was at wal-mart, so I grabbed some Smithwicks.  It's a pretty good Irish Ale by the Guinness guys.  It's a nice smooth ale.

I tried some of that Sierra Nevada beer a couple weeks ago out of curiosity.  It's surprisingly good.   =P~

WOW I just found out my beloved Bass has been produced in the US for the last couple months. I haven't been drinking too much beer lately and as sipping on one earlier and noticed the label change. WTF now I think it tasted different and it will never be the same. I've always made jokes about the Limey's using water from the Thames river to give Bass its unique flavor.

I had one of these with dinner tonight at the Mellow Mushroom and it was really good.  It wasn't cheap, else I would have had another!

Good People IPA now distributing (local brew and awesome!)

Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro is pretty damn good. Also, Arcadia Ales Shipwreck Porter. Tastes like it has a shot of bourbon in it, and at 12% ABV it just might.

blueraven

I had the "Monkey Knife Fight" IPA at the Rubicon Brewery in Sacramento recently.

Probably my favorite uber-local IPA.

And it is mighty tasty.

I have pretty bad taste in beer.  I just like light lagers really, though it's nice to have a Chimay or Duval or w/e.  I think my good taste in alcohol is wine and some spirits (but not many)

I had this a few years back.  I think I'll have to stop off at the grocer/liquor store and get a sample-pick-your-own pack and get me a few of those!

The pumpkin beers are starting to roll out now. Woolavers and dog fish make great ones for those who like them.

I just had a Sam Adams pumpkin beer (don't recall the name of it offhand, but it came in their seasonal variety pack) and it was pretty good.  Very pumpkin-y.  I'm typically not a big fan of flavored beers, but I love me a good pumpkin beer. :D

Holy crap, this thread hasn't been posted in in over a year!  Am I the only one drinking beer on these forums!?

Now that I live in the Kansas City Area, I've been enjoying Boulevards offerings.  Tonight it's their Single-Wide I.P.A.
