Can't seem to find one either.  I just picked up this game too.  I'm gonna give it a go to see how far I get before I get stuck.

It's a great game once u get past the cheesy-ness of it. A walk through would be awesome for me right about now!

Heh...the only copy of that I had, the menus were all in Japanese, but the dialogue text was English.  I had a helluva time getting through that one!

Did you also make a thread ab00t this on the Magic Engine forums? If so, check my advice there.

So the Japanese version doesn 't have a choice to play in English? I wonder why they included the japanese text and voices on the us release?

Basically when you get stuck you need to talk to everyone about everything again and hope to find somebady lying.  like if person A says he was at the movies and person B saw A at a diner across town then talk to A again to get new info.  Also need to check the map carefully as new locations will appear without any notification to you.
I'm not cool

I have the Japanese one as well and you can turn on the English option for the game just like how you do with the US version when selecting it to play in Japanese. It's a really nice feature.

Sorry to dredge up such an old thread, but I recently played through this game for probably the 4th or 5th time.  I love it!  Great CD music (and kind of crappy PSG music, but oh well).  What people who play this game commonly forget to do is go look at the records room.  Read about everything in there (Rape, stolen car, stolen knife, etc etc).  Later in the game there will be more to read through in the records room.  This is absolutely essential.  After that, go back out and start asking questions.

Are the voices in this game done by the ADPCM in the Turbo CD expansion unit, or are they done by the Turbo itself?  The voices seem to have a ton of buzz and static, and I have heard cleaner voices in a few HuCard games.  The CD music (like the tune for the credits) also have the occasional clicks and pops due to poor mastering or maybe poor replication.  But with a little bit of clever audio editing they can be removed when you throw them on your iPod or MiniDisc or whatever.

Never heard any CD audio drop in my Japanese version. On the other hand, the ADPCM voices are indeed not very clean compared to, say, Snatcher.

Trivia: the CD tracks are from Masahiro Sayama, renowned jazz artist who also composed the soundtrack for Anearth Fantasy Stories.
