@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Installed a 2500mAh Lipo battery pack into my GT.
This is removable but also can be charged when cover removed.
I swap one then charge the other.
I also installed a Gammatronix programmable led battery indicator
Battery pack and charger purchased

Mating cable for battery

First removed all AA battery parts and plastic posts in the battery compartment.

The cover also needs reducing as the battery pack is just too thick with these bits in.
IMG
Battery indicator installed at the bottom of case
IMG
Battery indicator and GT power wired to Battery cable and hot glued in place.
The indicator preforms better if connected direct to the battery thick wire rather than
the thin wires of the GT.

Battery pack installed

Wow.  Great work.  How much playtime can you get before a recharge?

Also could I pay you to hook mine up?  I would obviously cover all shipping and equipment charges plus pay for your time.

Thanks.

That's awesome. Looks pretty easy too.

Nice clean install.  +1 on asking what the play time is; also, is that with an OG screen or something newer and presumably more efficient.

Not run it to discharge yet but will do.
My unit has the GT RGB Mod I had designed and a 2.4" LCD.
Runs at 360mA @ 7.4v
Theory wise you should get 6.5Hrs to 6.9Hrs max on the display I'm running.

This is the biggest battery I could install of this type which is 2500mAh 7.4v.

The battery cover is just on the edge of tiightness which I think I need to shave off some more plastic.

NecroPhile

Not bad at all.  That's like 6x longer than original.

Yeah it's not bad.
I will have to do a marathon play session to check out the playtime capacity.

I've made a bit of a boo boo by warming up the battery cover to try and mould it into a looser fit.

Looks a bit naff now. Still fits though.

Necromancer there was a guy selling back covers on the forum.
I have found the thread and PM'd the guy but no reply as yet.
Any idea if he or somebody else has some for sale.

NecroPhile

Uh, oh.  We got another Bernie situation?

For a replacement cover, you talkin' about Jelloslug?  He 3D prints his fancy stuff, so he might be willing to make more even if he doesn't have any right now.

Awesome, different approach than what I did but still awesome the same. Mine was modded with an internal 2500mAh and with an optional additional pack.

You do some great modding turbokan.

I just fancied the charging circuit out of the box and a swap with the bats.

I must admit yours looks neater than mine.
