Hello All,

I am wondering if anybody on the forum know anybody that repairs Panasonic 3DO's.

Here the situation I pickup a 3DO FZ-1 from a local retro store, it reads retail games fine but will not read any type of burns. I tried three different media types(Sony,Memorex,Verbatium) all burn between 2x-10x to no luck.
From my research it means the lazer is tired or worn out.

Please let me know if anybody does this kind of work for lazer replacement for these 3DO systems.
Thanks for reading and hoping to hear back.

The laser replacement is not that difficult. Just pay attention to the parts you're disassembling when getting ready to do the replacement. Go slow, and be extra careful with the ribbon cables.

Even though this here is specified for the FZ-10, it'll work fine on your FZ-1. They have the same laser.

Walk me through that one.

Free shipping unless you go overkill and have it delivered via courier service.

I don't know where you're from, but I don't see a free shipping option for USA.  The lowest option for here is $47.67.

Bottom of Africa.

That's odd, though. And I do see now that that is indeed the case. Apologies, Jibba.

I purchased mine last year (April) off a recommendation by one of your country folk, who also got one for himself. There definitely was "free shipping" to all via the economy route.
