@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Yep yep. Picked up a few arcade pcbs,Power Instinct 2,Vigilante, yet again Time Killers this time a mint perfect working pcb,The Main Event, and Fighters History new kit unused and complete and a few MVS carts,Puzzle Bobble,Ninja Combat,King of the Monsters 2,and Fatal Fury complete. The Fighters History game pcb has a Hudson chip on it. Later this weekend when I'm not tired I will pull the pcb out and give the chip a closer look and list what it is incase no one has done that yet.

A side note,Power Instinct 2 I won for 5 bucks,and Fighters History for 10 bucks.

I've been meaning to dig out my Bloody Wolf pcb to see if it has Hudson chips on it since its supposed to basically be an arcade board of the PC Engine with some fm sound slapped on.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

From my understanding, the Hudson chip in Fighter's History is a HuC6280 and is used as part of the sound circuitry.

Wikipedia lists this as well, now that I'm looking at it...I think I originally saw it in the MAME data for the game.

Almost forgot...for some reason, when I saw your post, the first game I thought of was "Fighter's History", since I remembered it had a Hudson-made chip in it. :D
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)

Sega does what Nintendon't, but only NEC does better than both together!^^
<Senshi> Tat's i'm going to contact the people of Hard Off and open a store stateside..

Hey, I almost forgot...there are a couple of improperly dumped chips for the Fighter's History PCB. I remember playing through the game on MAME and seeing Karnov flying through the screen uncontrollably, and Clown was super-easy to beat because he couldn't attack whatsoever. :D Probably related to the incorrect dumps.

Possibly. I will take pics I guess sat or sunday after I get some stuff rearranged in the room I store all this stuff in. If you guys actually want pics of all the pcbs I will put some up. My cam kinda sucks but I mean,I don't mind doing them if you dont min dthem not looking super clean.

Does this mean that Fighters History could possibly be ported over to the Turbo, like the arcade version of Bloody Wolf was?

Well, regardless of the chip, the game could have been ported over. The quality of the port would have been on par,or better then the Snes port of the game too. The Snes port was good, but over all the arcade game has better music and graphics all around. If they would have did  a Arcade cd port I bet it would have been near perfect in most areas.

This game seemed to not be well liked however and was bashed alot by the Capcom fanboys,so I was never surprised it was not ported to anything else. The sequel was produced on the NeoGeo and had a couple more characters, and redone play mechanics to get it adapted to the NeoGeo 4 button layout.

I myself have always liked Fighters History and Fighters History Dynamite/Karnovs Revenge more then the SF2 Champ and Hyper Fighting games,as it improved in some areas like how to get a dizzy and had zero pallet swapping characters. In this game you are required to hit the opponent in a certain spot a few times to get them to fall into a dizzy. A couple of the characters in the game I don't really care for,but that is like maybe 2 characters, which is typical of any fighting game. You tend to not like the entire roster ever.

Not in the same sense, no. The HuC6280A on the Fighter's History PCB was used for sound, it's not the main CPU.

Yea,and on that Deco32 hardware I think it actually only serves as a audio co-processor,and does not do all the work or anything.
