Raiden is fun for awhile but I start to get bored after a level or two.  It hasn't aged as well as I'd like.

Raiden II, on the other hand, is still amazing.

raiden on the pce is one of the best and most solid and decent shooters. the control is even better and smoother as in the original. considering, that this port came out just one year after the arcade release, is just amazing and makes it one of the best ports ever.

and i think, it aged very well!!

I love Super Raiden.  The music is incredible, the power-ups go on and on, and, even though a death is equivalent to resetting the game, something about the the difficultly level is extremely addictive.  Definitely my favorite overhead. 

By the way, atr3yu, it is OK to start new threads without including an ebay link.  Looking at the TG forum I see a pattern emerging.

Excellent scores dude!  I loove playing the raidens on my duo! I got pretty addicted to it for awhile. The level 2 music had gotten stuck in my head as well, lolz. My favorite way to play is to upgrade with the blue lazer! Did you find the secret fairy in level 1? I'm sure there are more in other levels, but I can't think of them off the bat. The fairy collects and returns you power-ups to you after you die. Its pretty rad. The fairy is also scantily clad and spends quite a while in your space ship  . I wonder if the fairy is related to the Cotton fairy?
