@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Had a discussion with another member who had never heard of one.  I remember them in catalogs when i was young, just sharing that is all.  No its not my auction!

Price is decent if you earn pounds, otherwise not terrible.

His other items are interesting - print booster, a ton of new/unused games, random accessories.  I wonder if it's old Telegames stock or something.

Eh, $24/ea?  Isn't that roughly the cost of a Duo Pad?

Edit: Plus ~$5 shipping...

seems kind of useless when you can just open a controller and swap cables.

That doesn't always work, certain variations of the controller have different innerds. I tried swaping a PCE pad to a TurboPad to no avail, the pins didn't line up right. Also there's third party TG sticks that someone might want to use on a duo

don't the multi-taps swap out ok?
tg to pce & pce to tg?

Are you talking about the reverse taps?

Put a TG cord on a PCE multitap,... OR put a PCE cord on a TG multitap. Than you could plug third party controllers into that. depending on which way you were converting it from. (???)
It was a question though, not a statement. would it work?

It works but I think it only works for 2 or so players. Just like with the extension cord I believe there are issues with signal degradation using the convertor cable.

Nat wrote a guide to using controller cords in multitaps.  You have to switch some wires.  Cords from DuoTaps and TurboTaps can be switched no problem.

This probably isn't to hard to figure out.  I modified one of my taps with the cord from some weird controller and was able to use Nat's guide as a starting point and made a couple guesses based on the color coding.

You guys are focusing on the wrong point here.  No one really cares about requiring the use of the adapter, its well known you can make your own or solder/swap cables.  The point was to share the fact that one was made years ago.  Geez

Most topics seem to wander off of the original point. Don't be offended. Usually it leads to great discoveries....but maybe not this time.

Yes!.. that duo adapter is sweet, if at the right price.  8-[

I'm pretty sure that's common knowledge. While I didn't purchase one at the time since I didn't need it, I do remember the conversion cables at Babbages soft/game store (where I bought my Duo new in '92).

I did this back in the day and ran into some problems. I don't remember if it was the SGX controller (since it was the only Japanese controller I had), or actually the Duo ones. Either way, I had the same problem with one of the controller cable swap plugging in fine but not working. I might've fixed the problem by reordering the pins in the connector, but I can't be 100% sure.
