Guys, so I have a question.  I have a 2nd working TG but the outer case is beat up.

I was thinking that I really like the grey PAL TG since I don't own one of those and can buy a brand new one fairly cheap.

Would switching the internal boards work?

 :-k

Edit:  Here are some pics of the internals just in case.

Looks to be identical in dimensions, can't see why it wouldn't work.

I wonder how hard it would be to convert the PAL Turbo Grafx to 60Hz NTSC, or even better, RGB.

Seems like it's almost easier just switching out the guts! =)

I am curious now...  I have always wanted a grey TG-16 but never wanted to buy one because I dont run PAL; NTSC here in the U.S.

Hoping to hear more opinions before I take the plunge and get this quick little project going.

Lol I just thought about something.  Imagine a Grey TG [with NTSC Guts], Black TGCD Base, and white PCE CD Player?

Hell of a Frankensystem!

If switching the cases on a CDROM2 works just fine, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

Looks identical to me MG.

Sweet! Thanks guys, I think I'm gonna go for it and it will give me two distinct systems to be fond of.
