I made this out of a box and some newspaper

It's for holding gameboy games, so I can see them.  I know it's a little odd, but it was fun to do.  I was gonna add some detail (and I still might) but the clay I got sold is fucking useless (it won't actually stick to itself).

What type of GB games and is it just a picture frame setup. I mean, were you just going to stick a game on it and hang it up some where?

HercTNT

Soop, its for ds games right? I dont really care for the fancy looking frame, but the blue insert for the games is pretty slick.

RegalSin

So your going to have a glass frame over it, or something to protect the games from falling out? Do they just stay in there.

regular grey gameboy games - they stay wedged in.  The whole thing is hand-made though, including the frame

Pretty cool. I'd like to see a big Huey frame (maybe the cards could overlap so only the artwork shows).

I definitely think the idea seems cool!  What is the blue part that will hold the games made out of?

i like it, once you put those grey carts in there it will work with the frame. Its really different man and that is cool by me :)

Well I had a neat idea for that; there was this CD holder, like a big clear sheets with pockets.  You slide the CD art in and then the disc behind it.  Perfect for PCE games.  Unfortunately, they were out of stock (after I placed the order) so back tot he drawing board.

The insert is made of cardboard, but it's really stiff since it's been painted 3 times.  Some of the games are really jammed in there!

neat stuff.

That is a big pet peeve of mine with every portable I can think of - no title on the end. The game gear did it, so did the lynx, game boy, even such exotic things as the Wonderswan did it. and of course, our very own HuCards.

soop, you gotta take a new picture with the frame full (or partially-filled) with cartridges! :pcgs:

Also, although the frame is a bit surreal, it works as a nice contrast to the uniform sterility of the cartridges themselves. Personally, I would have experimented with thicker plaster frames featuring floral motifs (just kidding!). :pcgs:

Here you go:
I was gonna do the whole floral thing (though it looked hard) and I still may, I just need better clay!

Nicely framed carts. I wonder, though...how do you remove the carts from the frame?

I envision you using techniques not dissimilar to removing ice cubes from a tray of ice. :pcgs:
