Its needed to play the games express CD games on the Duo.  :)

MotherGunner

Really?  Which titles?  Why was a separate card needed that otherwise couldn't be played with an Arcade Card (that supports all backward versions)?

It was un-official software.  :)  Games like, Hi-Leg Fantasy.  There were others as well.

MotherGunner

Thanks Bernie, wow, goes to show how ignorant I was!  =)

Anything by Games Express. It's a hack card that works with the existing system to extend its capabilities. Games Express CDs are ISO9660 compatible, whereas normal CD software uses a proprietary format.
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)
Conquered so far: Sinistron, Violent Soldier, Tatsujin, Super Raiden, Shape Shifter, Rayxanber II

SuperDeadite

GamesExpress made unlicensed pr0n games.  They were unable to make their own self-booting games,
so instead they made their own hacked system card to play them.  There are two versions of the card,
a card came with each of their CD games in a neat card+cd case.

One is designed to piggyback system 2 and one is designed to piggyback system 3.

There's no way to play later-release GameExpress CD games on briefcase CD-ROM2 or TGCD systems, correct?

Exactly, and this douchebag split 'em up for maximum gouge (sold Hi Leg Fantasy separately).  [-(

I think the list of games that require the card is the same list of games that come packaged with the card.

CrackTiger

The games also come in unique cases designed to hold both the disc and system card. So again, if it's not completely complete, then there isn't much value collectible-wise.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Pardon me, but I've seen this phase, "gameexpress game" several times, but I don't understand what it means, and when I go to gameexpress.com, they have no Turbo stuff for sale.  Could someone please clarify what gameexpress games are?  Also, is there a complete list of their games anywhere?  Or did they sell some regular licensed stuff and some unlicensed stuff?

They're games made by.... wait for it.... Games Express.  They and Hacker International (one was the publisher and the other the distributor) made and sold unlicensed games - seeing as they were unlicensed and couldn't use the original system cards, they made their own system cards and packaged one with each disc title sold.

Thank you for the information.

Which are the Games Express games that come with the card designed to piggyback System 2?  Is there any way to know?

PunkCryborg

Here's some pics of AV Tanjou. I think most the cd games came in the same format and layout as this. It says on the back that it's for use on a duo system. The unique case and hu card are pretty impressive for a unlicensed game. The game is also pretty high quality and has pretty good animation and music. Some of the sexy lady pics are pretty revealing as well.
The premise of the game is to plan out the daily activities for several ladies and they have stats like health, fun, exercise and working you have to balance out by assigning icon with those activities to time slots in the day. If you make them happy you get sexy pics. It's surprisingly easy to figure out and was almost fun.

Do we know what kind of additional functions or whatnot are added via the GamesExpress cards?

Use the big chick and do the spin move.

Also, all you have to do is go through the single player and you get naked chicks after each round.  I may be making this up, but I believe you get more titty if you have the level up higher.

Duo_R

Wow did they have hookups at the hucard factories? That looks dead on like a hucard

This true in Strip Fighter II and beyond: unless a woman is incredibly endowed (or gravity is unusually strong), you get more titty if you go higher.

With the card you can play the CD, without it you can't. That's it.

So, are any of these games worth getting (from a gamer's point of view)?

Maybe if you're really into mahjong or pachinko games, as the 'real' games (Lady Sword, Strip Fighter II, Hi Leg Fantasy, and Body Conquest II) don't have much going for 'em.
