Bomberman was my own choice for GOTW a few moons ago. Once you start a game, you're almost guaranteed not to be able to stop, at least until you die, screw royally, or the difficulty gets too hard. It's kind of like Tetris in that way.

Bomberman '93 is a very welcome update, with lots of dazzling graphics and some of the best chiptunes on the system. The bosses mean business, though, and they are the main reason why I haven't made too far into this one. Hopefully that will change soon!

Rules:
-All members are allowed one submission. When there are no further submissions, we will have a reset and everyone will be able to submit another game.
-Each game may only be submitted once.
-If you wish to retract your submission, please do so at least two weeks before your game is due. Your next submission will go to the back of the cue.
-Please don't submit games that have a high language barrier or will take too long to complete (particularly RPGs).
-Please don't submit games that are too expensive. Below $50 is best. Above $100 won't work.

This is another one on my bucket list to pick up.. I personally think this is my favorite Bomberman game (even more than '94) with the runner up being Saturn Bomberman which I had the good sense to buy.  Loved all the new multiplayer arenas/modes in this one especially.

Well, this is a great game. It adds so much icing (cute attention to detail) on an already solid formula (game mechanics). Hudson put lots of love into this, and it shows. I don't think anyone could have been disappointed with this "upgrade".

When my dad fell in love with Bomberman, I had no choice but to follow suit.  When I first beat Bomberman '93, it was as if he was passing the torch.  I never looked back.

Bomberman '93 is one of the most colourful games I've ever played, and I've always had a blast (pun intended).  So many great characters, and such an epic final fight.  I loooove it.

One of the best hucards, bar none. A big step up from bomberman 1989. Hudson was a tour de force back then.

I first had this game on the computer when I was 7 years old.

yeah I'll also add that the multiplayer is a way better in 93 with all the fun levels and gimmicks.
In 89s multiplayer your stuck with one level and it feels incomplete.. like a demo in comparison.

such a shame I never played this game since I own the original bomberman on the turbo but I recently got an everdrive so I gotta pop it in my turbo and play some bomberman 93 and 94 while im at it

An expensive beast nowadays, but fun and if you don't mind a little bit of rune you can go for the pc engine version for much much cheaper.

My favorite music was the game over screen.

The final boss was hell, but somehow even worse in 94 (and if you got a game over you had the redo the whole world).

I've been away for a bit, but wanted to mention this is my favorite Bomberman game.  I'm stuck on the last level, but will finish it one of these days!
