3D printing replacement Laseractive PAC slot doors

I've seen people making replacement clips for the Turbografx CD carrying case and Turbo Duo HuCard doors. Has anyone considered making a replacement door for the Laseractive PAC slot? Those things are very difficult to come by. I think I've seen one on Ebay over the last few years. Seems the majority of LAs I've seen are missing the door. I know I'd buy one if it were available. How about it?

Considering how unpopular the system is, you'd have to get a group together to prepay for someone to take the time get one reproduced. Someone would also have to lend out their door.

It's definitely a niche system but there seems to be a decent number of people here with an LA and it seems to be a common issue. Just thought I'd pose the question and see if anyone had plans to make them.

To be honest, I would just keep a PAC in there all the time.  If you want to watch an LD just eject the PAC so it's not "plugged in" and leave it in the slot.  I've got one of those dust covers anyway and that's still what I do.

Has anyone actually checked with Pioneer to see if they have them? They carry lots of spares for LD players still.

Yes, I've looked and unfortunately they no longer have any in stock. They're just about out of parts for the LA completely.
