I think I posted this like 8 years ago, but I didn't really do anything...

So I am posting again, I feel motivated to do something about it...

Here goes.

Who remembers the darkcityproductions turbo duo pages? Now here: http://electrohaze.com/duo
They were some of the first webapges I ever learned to make, and it was a labor of love...

Even when I started selling off my entire PCE collection in 2008 I promised I would fix and so something with the pages... but I moved to Japan in 2010 and naturally lost interest in updating a website featuring a collection I no longer owned. I then forgot it was even online....

I more or less left the page for dead for nearly, what 10 years? In a half broken state...  What an awful webmaster!

Anyway... every now and then someone tracks me down about something on my page(s).
A few years ago it was the Valis pages.
Just a few days ago it was about the "Ys Special Edition" I made.

The link for the ISO had been broken... I fixed it right away.

Now after all this time I am all excited to fix my broken pages, and add new content for some reason.
Maybe it's just nice to be remembered?  As my pages were one of the few extensive PCE pages online at the time... 1998-2000~

But, what can I bring to the PCE community these days? Surely there are many fully featured pages that provide content beyond my 10 year old forgotten pages right? In those old days, everything made on my page was made by myself. every image was captured or scanned by me.. I didn't use google images to find images find my content...

Truth be told, I never really learned much about web design past the year 2003.

If I updated my pages, I would do so keeping them as they were... stuck in the old year 2000 look, just fix what is left to fix. and add new content the best I can...

What do you guys think?

FYI, I already started the process...  feel free to poke around and tell me what's still broken. I am aware top looks all messed up and the message board is a dead link. (I don't maintain one anymore.. maybe I'll link to a different one)

Thinking of making a 2016 DJ remix audio remaster of the Ys Special Edition.
Who would be into that?
Talking much high quality audio tracks (if I can find the lossless versions of the originals)

Feeling nostalgic!

Your site was one of the reasons I wanted to make a site.

I remember random things:

Do you still have that Valis II track (Stage 1?) with a Brazillian dude playing the piano?

I actually mentioned this Valis II track in a post recently...but I had not thought about in a bazillion years. I don't even know if I remembered it was from your site.

Also, I think you had screenshots of all the Super System Card error screens...that was the first time I had seen a compilation of those screens... It was fun to see the "art" that was hidden away from people who had a proper System Card.

Did move servers a long time ago, and my hard drive crashed about the same time.

I didn't realize that the only place those tracks existed were on my site.. :(

That Brazillian dude, Juan Daniel. Is alive and well... actually doing remixes and DJing and stuff in Brazil. I still talk to him. I asked him and he doesn't have the tracks anymore either....  if anyone downloaded them and held onto them all these years. Please get them to me so I can put them back on the page!

Also, he made a new Valis remix in 2011.  It was on his soundcloud, but now it's gone. I plan asked him for a 320kbps version of that mp3 a few days ago. As soon as he gets around to sending it to me, I will post it as the first bit of new content in like a billion years.

Please see this page:

I left the old broken links on purpose, as they are the only actual record of the tracks that exist...

Good to hear your still kicking and mucking about with Turbob funs.

I have fond memories of your site, especially the syscard error screens, but I still wanna know "where's the pr0n"?!?

Ha ha...  Yah, I think I did have a few secret links for a bit there.  Actually working with a friend right now trying to fix the last of the broken parts.  Did you know I those error pictures were done an actual duo and the wrong card to capture device? I imagine everyone just uses a emulator these days...
Some good error archives online now eh? :)

I got a few projects and updates in mind for the sight that may or may not see the light of day.. for now I really want to at least restore the memory of the old site. (which was never done properly done in the first place).

What can I say, I feeling motivated to do something...

Maybe some valis porn?

It didn't ring a bell at first, but then I paged through your site and saw the reviews. I remember reading those many years ago.

Keep it going, man! There can always be more PCE/Turbo content.

I been reading about that last Valis release all day... what a crazy thing.
Been trying to track down a copy of it, although it seems like a pretty awful game..
Maybe I can find a copy of it for sale...

There's a translated version of the comic in the Tenokoe Bank manual! Cool! I've never seen this before, I may just print it out for my copy. (I've never visited your site before, obviously) :)

He he.. Happy you found it for the first time. I think I made that in college when learning how to use Photoshop in 1998!

I should translate some other little manga and do the same, that's an easy thing to do! (well, not the translation part, but the photoshop part)
