@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

During the cutscenes at the end of Ys IV I lost sound a bit into each of them. The sound started back up when the disc actually loaded something then when out again. So I'm suspecting that it's the burn as I haven't encountered this issue with any of my retail discs.

Anyway just curious to know if this is somewhat normal or if I should look in to getting it fixed.

it could be your burn or it could be that the rails that the lens travels on are not as clean as they should be anymore. Sometimes the lens can get hung up on dirt that collects there. There is a good chance that it could play through those parts without dropping audio on you now because the lens may have pushed some of the dirt out of the way on its own. in some cases though you might have to open up the system to clean the rails off and then apply new Grease.

I'll definitely take a look inside and grease the gears. Just hoping it's something small if anything and not needing a recap.
