Well this past sunday i finally got a Wii from my local Tru

Afther reading a thread over at "cheapassgamer.com" that they were getting a shippment on the, 11th i didn't any waste time.

So i had a friend pick one up for me during the morning.

My experince with the system has been ok so far.

Still it does take getting use to the controlls.

I still need to get it hookup to my cable isp though.

Any body recomend a good router to use with it?

Most reponse i get are try the LinkSys Wireless router.

From what i understand they go for $40.00.

Congratulations on the Wii, Tron! I've had bad experience with LinkSys routers, but I enjoy the D-Link router I use now :) .

I hear Linksys sucks for wireless, but they seem fine for wired.  I refuse to buy any wireless routers for any reason.

That's absolutly hilarious!

As for Linksys, I've never had a single problem with my wireless.  I think the main thing is to NOT install the software that comes with it, or so I'm told.

Do yourself a favor: get the wired network adaptor, and a router to match. Wireless internet on my Wii is occasionally spotty, which is a nuisance when you want to DL the latest virtual console release.

CrackTiger

I just use the DS usb Wi-Fi adaptor that I bought my girlfriend a while back for Animal Crossing WW.

Once the Wii wired adaptor's available I'll switch to that.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

My wireless connection on my Wii used to suck, but my brother did some setting to it so it searches for closer signals or something and it works great now. Before my Wii kept picking up signals from my neighbors. Also it helps if your Wii is closer to your router ;) .

Nintendo has one listed at it's online store.

I don't know if it's...the DS one but they clam it works with the wii also.

I'm thinking about going with the,Nintendo wi-fi usb connector insted of a router.

When is the Wii USB-to-ethernet adapter going to be available.  Is it hard for Nintendo to manufacture this?  is there a cheap alternative available now that will do the same exact thing?  How much $$$?

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!
