From kotaku-

SEGA Game Gear dead? No! The handheld still lives in a public service announcement starring characters from cartoon Shrek. The spot encourages children to go outside and play instead of sitting around watching TV and playing video games. This coming from a movie franchise that a). said it was okay to be fat and ugly as long as you're a good person b). is selling every kind of nasty junk food on the market c). has video game versions of itself. The irony, we're drowning in it. The inclusion of the Game Gear does help ground the wtf factor.

The YouTube video-
I like the line at the end, where Donkey(?) says "For cool playtime ideas, go online, Just don't stay long."
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

That's hilarious! Thanks for the link!

Just thought I'd also like to mention that there is an N64 shown in this video as well. Is this kid from like 1997 or something?

Oh the hypocrisy!  Nice find - thanks for sharing.  The Game Gear is nearly heavy enough to qualify as a workout to hold it, but they must of feared big N litigation and steered clear of the Gameboy.  :)

Clearly Shrek has never been to Arkansas. Kids cant play outside here. They die from the humidity and radiation burns from the suns solar heat rays. Also, clearly Shrek doesn't know kids very well,he fabricated that commercial. Kids don't play Game Gear, they play Atari Lynx.

Quote from: Seldane on 04/21/2007, 07:28 PMDVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: IMG! Sir, the door was open.

Kitsunexus

I'm sorry, I'm as big of a gamer as they come, but when we have to tell kids to go play outside like this, OUR COUNTRY IS FUCKED.
Forgive me, my brain is on par with the Bubble System.

Shrek is a fat bastard.  Until he and his fat bitch start practicing what he preaches, he can go to hell.

Dark Fact

Pretty interesting advice from someone who shills McDonald's food.  Hey Shrek, can I introduce you to my pet hippo? His name is Crite.

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!

Maybe ogres have a genetic proponency to be fat and can't help it.

Perhaps his metabolism betrayed him at age 25?  What if his body instantly converts maltose into fat?

We can't hate on Shrek cause he's fat.  We have to hate on him because the third movie was completely lame.

Nobody ever gave Richie Rich or Garfield a hard fucking time.  Those are the two most excessive youth associated icons in modern American history and people wonder why Pimp my Ride and Yo! MTV Cribs have such a cult following.

For those of you who saw Shrek Trois, did anyone have a hard time explaining the smoking weed reference to their six year old??  Dreamworks got a nice "fat" letter from this Harvard Grad.  Maybe because I'm from the 'Just Say No' Generation X, while I appreciate a good cheeba reference now and again in Cinema, it don't belong in them there kids movies.

I was at the market last night and saw shrek's head on a box of Ice cream pops.
