whats the best lube to use to lube up the gear and the bar on a TG-CD?

NecroPhile

I'd use some clear machine oil, such as that used for sewing machines.

When I did mine I used the oil that came with my electric beard trimmer I bought a wal-mart. They usually all come with a little bottle or tube of clear oil. Just a couple drops and it made a huge difference.

If you dont have access to this just get a little WD-40 and spray it in a bowl and then use a brush to apply it....

Or you could use Pneumatic Air Lube, its usually a 3-in-1 Oil. You can buy it at wal-mart, lowes etc.

If you dont have any of this laying around use some vegetable oil or crisco "just put some around the gears and guide bars with a Q-Tip."

If you dont have any of that laying around then search walmart for any of it!

Hope it helped!

Im sorry, i had to.  The title and word use just made me do it.

anyways...

I would go with WD-40 myself and I would do it the same way as mentioned already.

DONT just aim and spray.  Even short quick bursts or anything you convince yourself will work due to laziness!
Ive seen people do that and basically over lube an ENTIRE machine... rather than the little area they wanted to hit.

its too bad that WD40 doesnt just come in a non aerosol can form as well.
This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Lithium grease works great too.
