Hi there ya all TURBO FOLKS ! I came across 2 boxed Bonk 3's this year both look very identical ! except that one came with USA Manual and another one came with French Language foldable manual "poster style" and I ended up with 2 boxes for purpose of upgrading condition but one USA Version box comes with printed UPC bar code I bought this from a guy here from canada it was complete with the manual the condition of the box is GOOD.

now that 2nd box I got is identical to the first one but in better shape but it came with a Stickered UPC Code on the back on the box and that foldable manual so I wanted to know if it is considered Canadian/French version that was probably released in Canada area ? please let me know if any of you have that box ? or have mroe information about that sorry if it has already been discussed before. Also any other boxes with similar stickered on UPC Code on the back and with Bilingual Languages manuals ?

Yes, you have a Canadian-released copy.  I don't have a box for Bonk 3 but my copy of Darkwing Duck has a UPC sticker over the original like you describe.  It probably safe to assume that a different UPC code was needed for all Canadian releases and all the boxes have stickers.

In Canada, the foldout manuals were included in all of the late period Turbografx releases (the twenty or so games without jewel cases).  Older games came with full-fledged, stapled manuals in both French and English.  Apparently they were trying to cut costs by the time the last few games were made.  No one has ever talked about the UPC stickers on these forums but the Canadian manuals don't seem to be particularly rare.  Sometimes a few French manuals are sold around here and they usually go the same price as English manuals, regardless of whether they're foldout or stapled.  French manuals are somewhat uncommon but their lack of use for English readers seems to offset any increase in value.

I have foldout manuals for Bonk 3, Darkwing Duck, and probably some others.

My Bonk 3 box has a UPC sticker over the original UPC, and came with the folded manual in french.

I bought it used, so I don't know if it came with an english manual.
