Hi all! I'm from Austria, so sorry for my Englisch.....
I have a question: What will i need to play jap HU-Cards on my US-Turbo Express?!
Will i need only a converter like the Mirai or the Kisado, or is a hardeware- Mod also needed?!
thanks a lot!!

Keranu

Most converters will work I believe, but they probably aren't too stable when they are in a Express because of the portable movement. A mod would work as well, but I have heard modding an Express system is a little harder becaus e it can be difficult to find a spot to put the switch in, but it's still possible.

Thank you, but the main thing is if i buy a converter , plug it in, will jap-games run on my system, or will i need a Mod on my express too??

Keranu

You will only need a converter :) . It would be a better to have a person like D-Lite install a region switch on it though. It's more reliable and it's cheaper (well not sure how much he charges for Turbo Express mods, but it's still probably around the same price as a converter or cheaper).

Converters will work fine.  I use a WH-301 "Purple Barney" converter with my Turbo Express to play Japanese games.  You could also get it modded instead.  It's much harder to do on the portable systems, but I'll bet D-Lite could handle it.
