I remember some classmates that liked them, but I never got to hear much of them from anywhere (radio-wise) as the metal genre wasn't too popular growing up.
Manowar : A bit of a guilty pleasure of mine from a few years back when I ran into some of their stuff...

Don't judge me bro! ;)

Another one I like is "Call to Arms" and the best thing about that is how well it goes with movie music video fan creations, e.g. Lord of the Rings, 300, etc.
- Better res, but using Zack Snyder's "300."

Only other metal band I liked was Metallica, but just a few key titles, "The Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters."

Listening to the new Blink 182 album..

It is actually a lot better then I thought it was going to be.

Their 1st single release for new album

jtucci31

Seemed like that new album was a huge pandering mess. Singing about being 17 like it was yesterday and being close to 40.

But what do I know, I liked the latest Weezer album. And I never cared for Blink either

How is the newest Weezer? Felt like Rivers has been shitting his pants since Pinkerton. Maybe a little less on Green Album, but still shitting nonetheless.

I finally saw Weezer live a few weeks ago and they opened with the first song on the White album. I really liked it, and a few other songs on the album. It's just much better than what they've been shitting out.

Never cared much for the green album. Blue and Pink still get played in my car regularly

Didn't those guys write The Depahted soundtrack or something?

Seeing them live would be fun, I'm sure as they're somewhat obligated to play at least a few good songs.

I feel like if anyone wanted to see Weezer live they should see Ozma instead. If they even tour anymore, though.

All Dino Jr. is great, but I stopped following closely after the 90's...

I think the "major label" stuff holds up very well (utterly fantastic), but I can't help being uber-nostalgic for the SST-era tunes/production.

Dinosaur Jr rocks!   Love those guys!

Recently I picked up a record player and started collecting some vinyl.   Just got an awesome copy of Temple of the Dog and the original Ghostbusters soundtrack.   They sound awesome!!

Yeah I definitely don't like every album they ever put out. I never cared for "You're Living All Over Me". Some newer stuff is just ok too, but the rest is great. I still listen to Dino when I ride my bike.

My wife and I went back and watched "Ascension Millenium" in honor of this new video.

I am sure others have said it before me: to pay for his crimes, Michael Jackson's soul is trapped in the leathery flesh of Corey Feldman. It is the only proof that reincarnation is fact, not fantasy. It is the only proof we have that Cosmic Justice might actually exist.

I guess I missed that movie growing up, maybe one to keep in mind some time. He did make laugh with that straight-to-video release of "Lost Boys 2," as I never heard that joke before, "Build a man a fire, keep him warm for a day, now set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life..." and he had a decent enough delivery for it. Heh.

Respect, ya know... He at least gave those 4 gals respectable paying jobs, so food on the table, rent paid on time, etc... Corey = jobs-creator, that's something, right ?? ;)

All of his parties and PR stunts, you just can't take him seriously at all (not like anyone does anyways). It's so bad.... but at the end of the day he's rich and surrounded by hot trashy women and we are probably not

In my opinion Corey Feldman will be a Wyld Stallyns like, it may just be a generation or two before people realized how ahead of the times he was.

And did someone say saxophone?

Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Is he "rich"? I don't follow such things so I don't know. I do know that he wanted crowdfunding for his album so presumablly the checks from VH1 and the $250 a head parties barely pay for the women, and yes they are his employees. I'm sure many hate his guts.

Personally, I'd say the guy had a shitty childhood and it never ended or changed. Anyone who has to harvest that much (usually negative) attention just to get out of bed has some severe hurt. Same with Paris Hilton or Donald Trump. Sure, they're totally unsympathetic and possibly totally unredeamble but they are also clearly miserable because people who are getting what they want out life don't need to farm attention like that.

I was actually listening to SignOfZeta's soundcloud a few days ago.

But today, right now, new Allegaeon album.
Going to need to listen to this about 10 more times over the weekend. Early impressions are good though. Really liked Terrathaw and the Quake in particular.

SignOfZeta

That's impossible. Nobody listens to my Soundcloud.

Mixing a full LP right now. A fantasy sci-fi politically charged action space opera in two 18 min acts. It has a happy ending. There is magic, the destruction of a city, a hero reborn, warp drives, gods, demons, and the end of the universe. Like my kaiju tragedy Be Forever Krakadon but properly recorded and thought out.

I'll probably never record an 18 min track in one take again. Sure, it's fun to record and fun to listen to but mixing and mastering something that long can be incredibly time consuming since it tends to eat up multiple 18 min chunks of your life.

Ah that one, yeah, I liked it too! A memory from a coworker of mine ages ago just sort of stuck, telling me if you ever want a great movie soundtrack, get the one for "The Lost Boys." The CD doesn't go to waste, it's mostly filled with hits/above-average-tracks as opposed to finding one hit and the rest "filler" as was standard for any music CDs during the hey-day of the media. Anyway, I never saw a video of this put together, purty cool.

Well, while we're on a Lost Boys tangent:

Best part of the movie is when the assumed main vampire dies and you hear in a quiet rushed voice "thou shall not fall," inexplicably in the background.  Aka I have seen the movie too many times.
