...I wonder if there's a copy of Magical Chase in there?

I do.

Lol....my fiancee watch that show a lot.  I'm sure there are some buried treasures in some of those houses some where.  In all the shows we have watched, I've never seen any vintage video game stuff on there.  No 2600, no NES, no Sega stuff.

Usually its all old people who never played video games that live in filth and crap into garbage bags and throw them in a corner, or you got the single mom/dad that is overwhelmed with young kids who have already moved into a relatives house.

Interesting show for sure.  I'll post on here if I see anything on that show.  I think we have about 10-15 of them on the DVR we haven't gotten around to watching yet.

Ive been in many houses like that actually at my work doing cable/phone/electrical work. There is never anything cool in those houses just human filth and trash. Even if there is something cool it's so filthy you wouldn't want it anyways. The only exception was this one time this lady had a Marantz turntable buried under 20 years of filth, it took me a month of quarantine in the garage and cleaning before I would bring it in my house but it was worth it for such a sweet turntable.

Same here, my wife watches it a lot, can't say I have seen anything on the show, but I remember one episode with a guy and it looked like he had a bunch of old c64's in his hoard.

Never wondered that, no.  I used to wonder if they had cool video game stuff, but I've never seen cool anything on that show.  Just trash and junk that belongs in a landfill.

There was an episode where this guy hoarded antique arcade stuff in a wharehouse and they helped him open an arcade on the jersey boardwalk. That episode was pretty cool actually

A relative of mine was actually on that show unfortunately. The only one who even had a clue she had a problem was her kids, we didn't find out until a few days before the episode aired. When her husband died she started hoarding things they had planned to buy to remodel their home and it spiraled out of control.

I do.
I've watched it and thought "the smell must be horrendous".

And yes, I wonder what goodies could be hiding.

They did have one younger guy on there who was a gamer, but he was more of a PC Gamer rather than a console kind of guy.  Lots of old issues of PC Gamer laying around.  Didn't see any vintage video gaming stuff at all.

I saw that episode too. I wouldn't say he was a hoarder, more lazy and unorganized if you ask me. Empty beer bottles and trash lying all over the place. As far as gaming stuff, he had a PC and an Xbox 360.

I think there's a better chance to find a Keith Courage that reeks of urine then Magical Chase.

I like to watch that show just to keep myself in check, as I do admit to being a compulsive shopper when it comes to video games.
