Has anybody ever had problems with Japan Game Stock?

EDIT: Despite a little weirdness, Japan Game Stock came through. I didn't want to leave them with a bad word or anything.

My dad said he ordered two things from there for me for Christmas, and it has been a nightmare.

The first time, he placed two separate orders. JGS emailed him asking if he wanted them to combine the two orders. Some unspecified but oddly short time later, they cancelled the orders because he did not tell them to combine the orders.

He then had lots of trouble getting orders through for some reason. He had trouble logging in, and his credit card company was giving him a hard time letting the new order successfully go through. Eventually he cleared that up with the card company and placed the order.

Now, his card is on fraud hold because (my dad's words) JGS did something wrong tax-wise.

I wanted to get myself some PC Engine stuff from there next year, but now I'm having second thoughts.

I've placed 2 or 3 orders with them and never had any problems.

Dark Fact

Has your dad tried getting in touch with JGS lately? If so, have they responded?

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!

I believe they shipped it and it arrived, but I haven't heard anything new about the card.

I'll know for sure if they shipped it tomorrow morning.

So the games arrived. Sweet.

It was well worth getting my dad's card fraud frozen just so I could check out Pepsi Man in the Japanese version of Fighting Vipers. Not.

And Last Bronx. It's different.

Great that they arrived!

Only played a pc demo of Last Bronx but I want to remember liking it. Quite "hard hitting" so to speak...

I think I played that same demo a few years ago, but it ran too fast or something.

Anyway, I wonder how spectacularly the Japanese Fighting Vipers is going to screw up my US copy. The Japanese copy picks up all of the things I unlocked and my best times from the US version's save file. I've since unlocked Pepsi Man and got him in the best times list. This is going to be fun.

Dude, Pepsi Man rules! :D I still love playing the PS1 import on it from time to time!

I really want his theme song as my ringtone!

I've placed two orders with them with no problems and one time they threw in a free game.

I've ordered several pc engine games from them in the past using normal airmail this includes a core-grafx II console everything has turned up with no problems... there is a slight wall to overcome when ordering with them but as long as you bide by their business procedures everything should be fine... just keep it simple.
